Total waste of time and money. Better to sell with Clothes Mentor. Brought several fine items that were priced under $100. Because they were priced under $100 you cannot pick up the items if they don't sell within few months - that's where they get you (how many items are actually sold above $100 there). Long story short, items lost completely, no money AT ALL gained. They'll tell you that you signed the contract. The assumption is the items would sell in a reasonable amount of time and you would get compensated SOMETHING. Seriously, don't waste time and energy and go to Clothes Mentor where you will get a cash offer on the spot.

I have lived here 7 years and had no idea this shop existed. Adorable clothes!! The racks are easy to manage (ie... not so stuffed that you can't see things). Prices are great. The two women were super helpful, friendly, and smiling. A really great experience!!!

This was the first time I brought clothes to consign. It was a wonderful experience! The staff was so friendly and kind. The whole process was explained to me very clearly. They are very professional and very organized. I would absolutely recommend consigning with them.

I’m going to a black tie gala, and not excited about wearing a form-fitting dress since I still have a lot of extra weight from the last baby. Stephen Lawrence had a huge selection of gowns in every color and size. I probably tried on 15 different dresses, and finally found one that worked. I also recruited some of the workers to help me with tricky zippers, and they were kind and friendly. There was a big variety of shoes, purses, and jewelry, as well. Everything was reasonably priced and in good condition. I want to come back and shop for everyday clothes, as well. There is a men’s department and they also have kids’ clothes, but I didn’t look at anything in those sections. Be aware that all sales are final.

Nice selection of women's clothing & formal dresses. It'd be nice if they would expand on the Menswear Department.

I was aware of the pickup of unsold items. I was unaware of them being over 100$ to get them back if not sold. I had dropped off 15 pairs of shoes. I sold 3. I was only able to pick up one pair since it was priced over 100$. I had a pair of Kate Spade boots price under 100$ brand new with box for 97$. I was not allowed to pick those up. Those are 300$ boots and I lost them. I’m glad I saved my Valentino boots. But I lost 11 pairs of shoes. I could have taken them to Clothes Mentor and actually made something back on them. I’m very mad, hurt, and feel taken advantage of. All my shoes were like new, Uggs, Birdies, Kate Spade, Nike, and various other name brands. Please do not consign with this place. Just take them to Clothes Mentor or Plato’s. You will at least get something in return. Not lose a substantial amount of items and make less than 100$. I am furious.

Please read this before you consign with this business. When I dropped off clothing earlier in the spring, I was made aware of a clause in their contract that things that aren't sold within that season would need to be picked up before the end or your items would become property of the store. I made sure to set a reminder in my phone so that I wouldn't forget. When I called about retrieving my items, I was told that because they had been priced under $100, anything that wasn't sold became property of Stephen Lawrence Ltd. The issue I have is that none of my items were priced in front of me nor was I alerted that my items were to be priced under $100 if I wanted to pick them up before they were put on the sales floor. This includes $300+ Nanette Lepore dresses with tags still on. I signed the contract and will accept the mistake I made in missing the key piece of information but I still believe that their business practices are questionable at best but lean more towards deceitful and wouldn't want someone else to make the same mistake I made.

I lobe this store ,they have top designer merchandise at super prices ! For a consignment shop they are the best !
