The Domestic is a unique and cultural antique store, a cool collection of booths run by individual vendors offering vintage and modern finds. It is a great place to wander and find hidden gems, with a decent-sized clothing area featuring everything from colorful 90's sweaters to beaded handbags from the 1950's; the vintage clothing selection is among the best. The store carries a great selection of smaller home decor items like baskets and vases, as well as larger items like mirrors, lamps, light fixtures, and furniture, alongside shelf decor, wall art, and many other unique items. The vibe is overall great, with stuff that looks decent and is updated regularly. While some items and vendors are great, one vendor with most sections has pricing that is too high. Some items are not priced, which can require staff to contact vendors. The space, located on the corner, could be bigger. There are occasional criticisms about cleanliness. A singular negative interaction involved staff being short and rude near closing time, which was not the norm. Typically, customer service is always super friendly, wonderful, and helpful, with very pleasant and hardworking staff. The store also features a charming and cute store cat. Most items are totally reasonable and often a steal, making it an amazing, beautifully curated place. Parking is easy once you get there, though it can be a bit hard to find initially.
I love Domestic and always find just what I didn't know I needed but can't live without. I go about once a week. They have very fair prices. A large selection of clothing as well. Friendly staff who can answer any possible questions. Hope to see you there.
