The Yard is a great facility for practicing or playing sports like volleyball, baseball, roller derby, and soccer. It is a giant warehouse space converted into several indoor courts and fields. The venue is described as a clean, interesting, and cool indoor area, though it is not a fancy expensive venue. The prices reflect this, with cheap court rental. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and great to work with. They are helpful for events and parties, allowing use of a party room equipped with a fridge and sink, and access to field space and courts. They can accommodate requests like allowing a food truck or opening early. The space works well for tournaments, parties, and pickup games. Guests should know the restraints, which include no seating, limited temperature control, and limited concessions. The floor can be a little questionable in some spots, but overall it is a great place that works for many needs.
The Yard is the best place ever! We need to talk about a SKEMA goat and puppy yoga business! The drink prices were great! I will definitely be coming back!! #SKEMA4LIFE

It's cold inside the facility. Especially if parents are waiting inside for the kids to finish practice.
