Editing to add: there was a glitch with the app upon drop off and U-Haul *corporate* customer service was awful. The people at the store though…AMAZING. I don’t think I’ve ever been more shocked with the level of customer service than I have been with this place. WOW

LOVE THIS UHAUL-THE BEST! Brooks and his team are simply incomparable. I have rented UHaul products on a regular basis. After a breakdown and need to be hauled off a busy interstate, Brooks made sure to relieve my stress until I could retrieve the trailer in another state. Simply the kindest gesture and I will always give this facility all of my business and a recommend that You do as well!

The convenience and accessibility of equipment at U-Haul makes it possible to operate on your own schedule, and if that means getting a truck and trailer midday and not bringing it back until after hours, they make it possible to do that.
The expense makes it affordable to nearly everyone needing to use their equipment, and I've never seen any of their equipment in bad shape or dirty.

The staff at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Masterson Station were extremely helpful and tried to make a bad situation better for me, however there was not an acceptable solution. None of this was the staffs fault, I want to make that clear, it was all because of the system/higher up management. I reserved a larger storage unit over a week before I showed up with my 15 foot truck to move into my storage unit. I was told when I arrived that they did not have that storage unit available, and that I was also the 3rd person THAT DAY that this had happened to. The very kind employees there offered me two 5x5 units because that was "all that they had". I did not have anywhere else to go with all of my stuff and was exhausted from hours of driving so I agreed. I should have realized that 764 cubic feet of my belongings was not going to fit into 400 cubic feet of split up units. My mattress would not even fit into one unit they were so small. We moved what we could into the two units and called it a night (it was like 9pm at this point), and the next day I purchased a very large unit at Extra Space Storage and moved the rest of my things into there. I do not understand why I was able to reserve and pay for a storage unit on U-Hauls website when in fact there was NOTHING available. I would call this fraudulent and a bait and switch. Do not recommend.

I would like to personally "Thank" the Owner/Operator of the 2425 Merchant St location in Lexington, KY. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helped me beyond measure to ensure a safe tow/hitch was installed. My son's graduation at the University of Kentucky, required me to set up a tow hitch. The "Owner" personally hooked up the hitch and ensured all was safe. We made it back to Winston-Salem, NC Safely (9 hour) trip was successful because of their attention to safety detail.Thank you and your team!! 5 Stars for the Client Experience and Safety!!!!! Reserved equipment not available; had to purchase new floor dolly, because none available to rent. Personnel at checkout counter literally fell asleep while entering information in computer (not narcolepsy related). Had to locate truck amongst 50 plus vehicles on lot, instead of having it ready outside office or brought to me to review mileage, condition, etc.

Devante is a life saver! I hit a rough spot with my finances. My storage unit is full of sentimental items, appliances and furniture. I definitely could not risk losing or replace easily. I regretted the call but explained my situation and he was able to help tremendously! Because of him I was able to make an arrangement to satisfy the debt plus save my items and actually keep them in storage a little longer so I can get it paid off. It was as if my belongings were as important to him as it was to me! You don't have companies that care as much as this one. They are fair, honest, clean and the customer service is above and beyond. I mattered. ? thank you so much again.

I do not regret to share my recent experience with U-Haul & Storage of Masterson Station in Lexington as they are deserving of only one star. The encounter with an employee during my recent rental was exceptionally negative, leaving me frustrated and disappointed.Upon arriving at the facility, I faced the challenge of locating my assigned truck in a lineup of over 30 vehicles with no clue from employee on where to start. When I approached the employee for assistance or guidance, I was met with an astonishing level of rudeness. Not only did they refuse to show me where the truck was located, but their dismissive attitude and lack of professionalism were entirely uncalled for. The employee also did not explain the procedures or take any damage pictures or notes. Fortunately another employee did assist with the location of the truck after walking around for 10 minutes looking at every truck number in the lot.I called in to file a complaint and was told that a GM would be reaching out to me and that didn't happen. DO not rent from this facility even if they have higher inventory as their employees do not care and will not assist or follow up.

One of the cleanest storage facilities I've used, really. And truck rental and return is pretty easy.
I do wish they had two lanes painted for truck return, only because first thing in the morning on a Monday means a long line if returned vehicles, making it challenging to get into the lot so you can park and get to your storage unit.
But all in all, I'd recommend this facility.
