I am getting tired of getting the run around on my distribution of my 401k. I put in for my withdraw of funds in December of 2022 and here I am still waiting on MY MONEY on April the 14th. Can not get any answers as to why for the past 2 months. And all I want to know is who is at fault for this American Trust or my Plan Administer?

Withdrew my funds on Jan 27 2023 via wire transfer it was suppose to take 2 days, I paid the extra money for this service. It's now Feb 21 2023 and I Still haven't received my funds. I called every week, twice a week. I was given the run around by EVERY customer service agent I spoke with, turns out my funds were distributed on Jan 31 2023...but TO SOMEONE ELSE'S ACCOUNT!!!!! Now I have to wait for my funds that were sent to the wrong account, and no one can give me an answer to where my money is .

Terrible to work with. After changing jobs we tried to just rollover the self directed td Ameritrade account into personal td Ameritrade account and we were told that unified trust does not accept any outside forms to process. Also do not try to talk with anyone in the “outside distribution” team because they do not accept calls or questions.Basically unified trust makes it as difficult as possible to remove money from them and will not answer any questions. Stay away at all cost.Also after 1 month of trying to rollover 401 we contacted unified trust and found out that all the paperwork we “DocuSign” did not qualify because previous employer requested that we either fax or upload.Update...after almost 2 months of the rollover process we were contacted again via email to contact unified trust. Apparently since this was a self-directed td Ameritrade account that I would now need to sell all the funds before they could start the process. Now this makes perfect sense but wouldn’t you think this should be the first item that unified trust advises us to do in the rollover process. We have been paying them fees to have our 401k even thou it’s a self-directed but if they are this disorganized in a rollover then I would hate to think what returns I would expect to receive

Our company has a 410k plan with Unified Trust, and I am not happy with the them. Their quarterly reports are very scant and lack information. The website is not user friendly.
