Before they bought Rite-Aide they were great, the pharmacy is horrible I have tried for four days to get my BP medicine with no luck,Walgreens claimed my doctor never called it in, I talked to my Dr and they actually have contacted Walgreens twice in one week, I contacted my Dr again on a Saturday , my doctors words were, (what is up with those people we have already called that in) you. Be the judge. I’m changing pharmacies , this isn’t my first rodeo with this place.

There was only 1 employee on the floor when we were there.
We needed help in photo. Employee was at the front register ringing up customers.
He saw us at the photo counter and told us he would be with us in a minute.
It was so nice to have an employee acknowledge that they had seen us.
He helped us a few minutes later.
Nice young man. I felt sorry for him. I have worked retail in the past. It is extremely stressful when there are no coworkers around to help.
He handled it very well.

I've gotten better service at the DMV.
Young guy with a beard at the prescription counter seemed inconvenienced by customers. Rude, unhelpful.

Pharmacy is slow and after receiving texts and calls about a Rx being ready, they closed over the weekend, then when I go see them, nothing is ready... Place just gets worse and worse

We evacuated our home in Western North Carolina when we lost power due to Helene and temporarily relocated to Lexington. The wonderful pharmacy staff at Walgreens went out of their way to transfer & refill a critical prescription. Thank you very much.

The pharmacist and tech were clearly working as fast as they could during rush hour. Despite the nonstop drive through line, constantly ringing phone, customers in line, they stayed friendly and calm. Would not be easy in a stressful environment. I appreciate their patience and efforts.

It is absolutely ridiculous that the pharmacy closes for an hour during normal hours in the day. I understand people need a lunch break but they need a better system. If they don’t have enough personnel to rotate at least the drop off pick up counters, then they need to hire more people. I can understand not having 2 pharmacist to save on cost but techs and counter clerks should be available.
To make matters worse, they hurried and closed the gate when they saw me coming down the aisle towards them. I even hollered out to wait!
I will be switching all my prescriptions to another pharmacy!! The local pharmacy has never done this!

Shout out to Kiersten in the pharmacy. She was so kind when my dog was suffering a medical emergency. She got the items I needed and expedited the transaction. I am so grateful for her understanding and for going above and beyond to help. Thank you, Kiersten. I’m so grateful for you.

5 stars for Amal who does an amazing job with customers and is so patient handling all check outs and the printing area while the manager wanders around, not helping and says loudly “they’re just gonna have to wait”

First off. The people that work here are always nice and helpful but seem stressed because there are so many people needing help. Shutting down for lunch break doesn’t work for customers. Closing the second lane during Covid and never re opening doesn’t work for customers. Waiting at least 25 minutes in line for a simple prescription doesn’t work for customers. I’ve used this place for 15 years. It has gone downhill so bad. I will relocate our prescriptions when I get time. Currently sitting in one lane drive through going on 27 minutes. This is typical here. With a line around the building.
