I had a tire fall apart on a trip while in Lexington. I went in to this Walmart and they got me in and out with a new tire in 30 minutes. Super nice folks and awesome and clean store. Probably the nicest Walmart I’ve ever been to.

Would give it a zero. Store was nearly empty of any customers but was followed around by multiple associates including plain clothed security. I was sick and not well dressed due to moving, my friend with me was a POC- I don’t know what caused them to target us. A girl in a yellow Walmart vest took our cart while we looked at curtains and threw our items all over the shelves and floor. Hiding it in random areas. I was confused while walking back and she ran past me while I was shouting to my friend, “I think someone took our cart.” During this situation while I am waiting for my friend to see why she took it, both of us trying to find our stuff, another plain clothes security was talking in a different isle to no one without a visible phone about “checking it out.” Two managers were “stocking” with no pallet the same shelf with nothing talking about how much theft goes on in the back of the store right next to us. Another secret security wouldn’t look me in the eyes looking straight at the ground with nothing in his cart, trying to hide his eyes with by pulling down his baseball hat. This is over the time of an hour- because again I am moving apartments and sick and they could tell if they decided to just let security listen to us OR come up to talk to us. They played back a video of me deciding or not to put whether to scan my -in total $4 dollar- cheeses or scan something else, I put the cheese back with my unscanned items, and after a few seconds tried to scan a non food item instead, the screen stopped, then the checkout associate ran over to watch a video loop of me deciding what order to scan things. I already scanned my big ticket items of detergents and etc. The cashier associate said they have people watching live, so why did that team alert the associate to come over to see I didn’t do anything but thinking how to deal with the tiny bag area when nearly every lane is self checkout. The associate stood there rewatching the clip where I did nothing wrong, waiting for an explanation. That associate complained about DEI hires, disgusting behavior.
This is a joke. We bought our moving supplies and left, if you really wanted to talk to us just come up to us. If I had the time I would come back and return all 300$ worth of items me and my friend bought. You aren’t super heroes or cops, I guess you just want to intimidate your customer base? You clearly didn’t hide what you were doing or it was incompetence. Was it’s because y’all had nothing better to do? Did you profile us? I only used you all for how close you are to my area, but I can afford to purchase elsewhere. I know you guys get pay bonuses for average stars at the register, I suggest anyone who has bad interactions and still has to purchase here give them a one. Funny the cash register didn’t even give me the survey after all that, who woulda guessed.

Walmart on Gray Lag Dr gets a 5 star rating from me. It is very clean and the aisles are also clear. Items are easy to find and check out was quick. It is the best Walmart I have visited in a while!

Oil change appointment did not begin until an hour after scheduled time. No communication from staff when I arrived for appointment that they were behind schedule. What’s the point in having an appointment system if you don’t honor the scheduled time? Spent 1 hour and 40 minutes waiting on car.

Employees at self checkout are RUDE for no reason. Walked up to a register and the lady working there screamed at me to “get back in line it wasn’t my turn yet” when I was the only person checking out on that side of the store. This retailer must have a serious problem with finding applicants who are qualified in dealing with customer service. Wont be back there any time soon.
