This is an incredible place with the nicest workers I've ever dealt with. Have helped me so much with my animals compounded meds, they are very knowledgeable. I'd give 10 stars if I could

As a clinician who works with doctors and pharmacists on a daily basis, there are no words to express how profoundly disappointed I was with my experience at this pharmacy. While on a road trip to Canada, my physician called in a prescription for migraines/cluster headaches, as my regular pharmacy in ATL couldn't fill it in time for my trip. My physician is a highly-regarded physician licensed in the states of Georgia, Kentucky and Indiana. First, the pharmacist stated they could only fill prescriptions by "local physicians" which, of course, made no sense given that in today's world, virtual physicians (along with other clinicians, like myself) are common. As long as a physician is licensed to practice in a particular state they are permitted to treat patients and prescribe medications within that state. (Not to mention, pharmacists should not be in the business of arbitrarily deciding what "local" means, based on whether they feel like "working" that day.) After jumping through that hoop, I was THEN questioned by the pharmacist about the amount of medication my physician prescribed, stating it wasn't "shelf-stable" for longer than a month, which is ALSO incorrect (as anyone in the her field should know). My particular medication is shelf-stable for a minimum period of 180 days, according to every peer-reviewed journal article written on the subject. (As a side-note, my prescriptions are written in three-month increments because I work on different military bases overseas and don't always have access to medications and when I'm home in the US, I'm usually traveling in my Airstream, as I am now.) Now in this particular case, it is not a problem, as I'm returning to back to ATL before my next assignment so I'll be able to swing my my regular pharmacy. However, it's still an unnecessary hassle, which could have easily been avoided if there had been an ethical, competent pharmacist on hand and any ONE of the associates I spoke with over the course of the two-day fiasco had bothered doing the smallest amount of research into my situation, instead of intentionally creating drama to feed themselves on. Their self-generated judgements and incorrect assumptions turned what should have been a fairly easy process into a two-day, hoop-jumping affair. To add insult to injury, despite having been nothing but respectful and courteous to everyone I came into contact with, when I exited the restroom, the associates and pharmacist were speaking in a very demeaning and disrespectful manner about me until one of the associates realized I had returned to the waiting area and quickly yelled to others, "She's back!" It was terrible and awkward experience all around. My advice to the pharmacist and associates-- Be wary of making snap judgments and assumptions about others. (You never know who you are providing your disrespectful and demeaning service to. ???) And to customers- There are MANY other compounding pharmacies in the area. I'd do my research and call around. I picked this one because of its proximity. In hindsight, I'd have driven three times the distance for a more respectful and educated group of "professionals".

I was very glad to discover this part of Wheeler services: their lab, which offers homeopathic, custom-made meds and a large variety of supplements, as well as organic beauty products. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable, which is what I appreciate in a pharmacy. Highly recommended.

Picked up some medicine for my cat today and Just want to say the lady working the front is incredible!! As soon as I walked in it felt lively and bright because of her. She was very helpful, and although I've never met her before she seemed genuinely interested in my cat's wellbeing. Unfortunately I did not get her name but hopefully there aren't a ton of people working the front at 5:45 on a Tuesday. 10/10 would shop again
