The lady that prepared my taxes, Karlie Matesic, was very friendly and answered any questions I had. But she failed to tell me that I would have to submit my state taxes via the mail. Also, not sure why I have to submit them via mail, surely KY isn't that far behind. So here it is May 5th when I find out that I haven't submitted my state taxes. And I only found out because I was wondering where my money is. Well you can't get a refund if you haven't filed. Saying that I'm upset is an understatement. The price I paid to have my taxes filled out and filed was ridiculous! And now this! I WOULD NOT recommend filing with Jackson Hewitt! I know I will NEVER be filing with them ever again! I am very competent to do it myself and guarantee I can do a much better job than this. They give you referral certificates to refer friends which gives you $40 with each friend who files with them, but I like my friends. I wouldn't send them to these goons to be ripped off and penalized for submitting their taxes late like I am now faced with.All and all my experience here was TERRIBLE to say the least!! If I could give 0 stars I most certainly would!
