A wonderful warm welcome and evening snacks, including a nice wine! Communication was great! Upon return from dinner were chocolates. The breakfast was delightful! Very close to Maker’s Mark Distillery. Highly recommend this B&B!

We enjoyed a beautiful, peaceful stay with everything we could need or want provided. The breakfast was incredible, and the owner/operator Lisa Marie was a delightful hostess. We would certainly return for another stay.

What a lovely stay! We enjoyed all the southern hospitality of Lisa Marie and Rudy James! Our hostess went above and beyond for us! We were wet and tired from cycling and she welcomed us for two days of relaxation!

The Hill House was the perfect spot to stay! Lisa Marie was the best host and pulled out all the stops. We really enjoyed staying here - it's in a great location very close to Maker's Mark, and not far from Bardstown. Rudy James is the cutest "security" dog and gave us our fill of dog cuddles. We stayed in the Oak Room and it was a very spacious room, well apportioned, and the bed was very comfortable. The room only has a tub and hand shower - we didn't realize that until reading a review before leaving, but that was okay. Despite all rooms being full, the room was quiet and we got a great night's rest. The breakfast was outstanding - far beyond anything I ever expected - and set us up for a great day.Lisa Marie has lots of great local knowledge and helped the other guests staying longer with dinner recommendations/reservations and more. I wish we had stayed here longer, and definitely will next time we hit the Bourbon Trail.

Lisa Marie and Rudy James make you feel like you are family. If you plan to visit the heart of bourbon country, this is the place to stay. The rooms are cozy and comfortable with all the amenities that make you feel at home. Lisa Marie serves creative breakfast items that are both delicious and appealing. We were greeted in the morning by Rudy James waiting outside our door. He is definitely an integral part of your stay. Thank you for an amazing experience Lisa Marie. We will definitely be back again.
