I’ve been to America’s Best before but not this location, but this is my new go to eye doctor! I got a same day appointment and as soon as I walked in I was helped immediately. They are very friendly and helpful. They were pretty busy but they seemed to be short staffed (to no fault of their own) but still helped me in a timely manner when it came to picking out my new glasses. I recommend them to anyone!!

I was shocked to see I was charged money after my insurance covered all. I still had money left. I am addressing this issue and want my money put back on my card

Very pleasant experience. I originally went to Vision works on outerloopand recieved horrible service. Decided to go to America's Best and everyone was extremely pleasant. Just wished they took my insurance had to pay out of pocket. But that's not their fault.

I was able to schedule my New Patient appointment for 12:40pm on Saturday online and fill out the paperwork prior to the scheduled appointment. That was the only positive experience I had with this establishment. I arrived 8 minutes past my appointment time. The look on the person’s face when I gave her my name and appointment time was very matter-of-fact as she immediately responded with “Mmm… You’re 8 minutes late. I’ll have to ask if they’ll see you.” I informed her that I took a wrong turn misreading my GPS. I asked if there was a grace period; still, she said since I was the last scheduled patient of the morning before lunch and I was late (8minutes) that they had likely already gone to lunch. The other two ladies at the desk shrugged their shoulders and kept silent as the older woman walked to the back. She came back and said we have to reschedule. She asked if that was okay. I responded with “no, it’s not; what times do you have?” Turns out they don’t have a doctor for the entire next week. My last chance appointment was brushed under the rug over a wrong turn and 8 minutes. Eight minutes that would’ve been filled with me doing my new patient paperwork had I not already completed this and had showed up on time. Eight minutes that would’ve been filled with printing papers, loading information and walking me to wherever this exam had started. Eight minutes that was part of my 30 to 45 minute appointment that I had scheduled online. They scheduled me for a different office across town for Wednesday. I was not happy. I walked to my car and sat there in complete disbelief of what just happened. I work in a clinic. This sort of thing happens all the time. Never have we turned someone away like this. This particular office, likely the same woman that was so happy to turn me away, called me asking if I was still in the area. I told her that I was. She then offered a 2 o’clock same day appointment. It hasn’t even turned one yet. I informed her that I couldn’t do that because I had to pick up my kids. I then told her that information would’ve been helpful while I was standing at her desk trying to check in 8 minutes late. I can only assume the manager realized they had made a mistake or I wouldn’t have received a phone call. Highly disappointed in this establishment. If I had vision insurance and could go anywhere it would definitely not be here.

If I could give no stars I would. This place is an absolute joke. Cheap place to get glasses or contacts but that’s about it. They don’t care about you and the really don’t care about your time. Tried to just pick up glasses and someone “licensed” had to hand them to me. The front desk people sit there and do nothing the entire time while every seat is filled and 2 other people are working.

The doctor was fine trying to get glasses was ignored for almost an hour and when I tried to get my prescription to leave they got even nastier told me I couldn't leave I had to wait. I'll never be back and will tell everyone not to go

Marsail the GM and staff are simply amazing. I've been valued customer for years.. There is nowhere else I would go for my Eyewear and care but America's Best 5 star rating. LISA SWAN MOORE

The manager & staff are all great. The service is very good. No assembly line type feel like others. It's my favorite out of decades of using others.

A very detailed exam and the doctor explained everything and answered all my questions. I was fitted by Sadie who did a great job. The front desk ladies were courteous and very friendly as well. My insurance is no longer covered here but for all that you receive I will gladly pay out of pocket!

Kathy Hendrix was simply superior! (Louisville Bashford Manor) location. She made sure our glasses were correct even when your factory didn't!! We have been a customer for almost a decade, and have had our glasses tinted dark yellow. The factory (who have the ability to tint) did a very very poor job. The salesperson Tiffany (also excellent) noted our request for dark yellow tint. As usual , the factory ignored our request. Kathy picked up the chore and made it right. You need to do whatever is needed to keep her! She is the very best..Dan Z
