We recently adopted an adorable young tuxedo bobtail cat from Animal Care Society. They were so good to work with. I’m a dedicated “cat mom” and wanted to make sure we got a cat who would integrate well with our four year old orange tabby. They were so patient (and so was my husband) as I deliberated about which kitty to choose. The shelter was bright, sunny and clean and we selected our little guy from a room of cute as can be young kitties. I was glad to be able to choose a kitty that had been with other cats. Our new friend gets along with our older cat pretty well & he loves his new home.

We so appreciate the Animal Care Society for saving “Bailey”, who is now renamed Daisy, in order for us to find the perfect match for our home. She is perfection and is so adored by all of us. The staff there was so patient and welcoming, and the care to detail of the ad about her sweet personality and potential to be the amazing family member she is got us there in the first place. And they were spot on! Plus, we got great, detailed health and vaccine information, honest background feedback, and even an awesome starter bag of food, treats, and toys. ACS staff, our family wants to thank you for not giving up on the work you are doing and having such steadfastness for the daily toll of this job. You are making a huge difference in this world for the animals you serve and changed our family in a big and beautiful way just a few days ago, like we knowYou do each and every day there <3

I got my little pup from here but because of allergies of my child ,I had to return her. They got her back without any issue. It was heartbreaking to give my pup back but needed to. And all employees welcomed her so nicely, she seems to be very happy with them as well which made me relieved. Thank god my destiny is in safe hands . Thank u all for your service to save life.

Clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and knew the animals by name and personality. Their adoption fees were much less than the Humane Society. They showed true care and concern for the welfare of their furry residents.

i had been reading FB post concerning a dog that had been adopted from ACS and I contacted them to let them know that the dog was back. A lady named Hailey informed me that the dogs well-being was none of my concern. I donate regularly to ACS, as well as many of our friends. Not only that she then asked have I adopted a big dog and laughed. if ACS is not adopting dogs perhaps it's due to their over paid and incredibly rude staff. I understand shelters can be stressful and the public is not the easiest to deal with, BUT, if you can't handle stress you likely need another job. if she's mocking a donor it's untelling how she treats the animals. while I know 40k is not much in this economy, it pays well enough to not be cynical towards the public.

This fundraiser had a very wide variety of baskets for pets to kids to adults. I bought 2 gifts & a basket for myself. I was sorry I couldn't attend on Friday. Based on what was available Saturday mid day, I'm sure I missed a lot of other opportunities. I'm sure this is a great fundraiser for their shelter & adoption agency.

This place really takes care of their people and the animals. We got a dog from here, and she ended up not being the right fit for our home and they completely understood. We miss our sweet girl and know they will find a home that's a good fit for her!

Very disappointing experience with this organization. After submitting my life history to adopt a kitten, being approved and driving an hour and a half and showing up at the shelter the same day, they adopted my cat to someone else before I got there.Do not set your heart on a cat from this organization unless you are seeing in person.

Love this place. Staff is extremely caring and informative of all pets there. They are willing to help with any needs that you have. My wife and I adopted our puppy 4 months ago and she is the best and we can't thank them enough for taking care of her till we adopted.

I have visited this shelter and they truly care for the animals. Their cats have wonderful rooms with windows and their dogs get all the extra care and play time! They do not discriminate against breeds and are a great resource to their community. The new Director is making a positive change and continuing to grow their organization to educate the public, increase fundraising, and save as many animals as possible. Highly recommend!

Our family visited the Animal Care Society this weekend and we were so impressed! The staff is incredibly experienced and compassionate in caring for animals and the facility is run very well, with each animal receiving individualized care. We highly recommend visiting to find your next furry family member!!

Great place! You can tell they love the animals and strive to care for them in the best way possible while searching for their forever homes. The director of the facility has invaluable experience with animal welfare and she’s definitely putting it to good use for the animals of this community.
