“My husband and I visited Louisville for our anniversary and came across Unorthodox while looking for unique places to check out — and we’re so glad we did! This ended up being one of our absolute favorite stops of the trip.
The shop is full of fascinating and unusual treasures — there’s so much to explore! We left with several incredible pieces for our collection, including snake bones, a skunk skull, some amazing books, art, and jewelry. Our two boys came along and were just as thrilled — they picked out some bug displays, and our youngest hasn’t stopped showing off his red fox tail since we left.
Such a fun and memorable experience for the whole family. We can’t wait to come back!”

“Absolute GEMS! This boutique went above and beyond with customer service. They held a piece of art for me to come in and get, and when I dropped my baby’s shoe while checking out they emailed me to let me know they had it. Went back to get it and one of the employees (I forget your name but I love you!) brought it out to the car for me because my kids were asleep. You all have my business for life! And obviously they have incredible local art.”

Finding Liberty was like finding a home. This place is the most welcoming and inclusive business I’ve ever dealt with. Plus they do various drives for charity throughout the year, so they are constantly giving back to the community. I’m so thankful to have found this place and I have no way to truly express my gratitude other than trying to spread the word about how great they are. Learning the basics to melting the raw glass, loading a rod, shaping, coloring and the use of alternating heating, rolling, cooling, etc was enjoyable. An excellent gift shop with a broad range of low to high end pieces is the centerpiece. There is also a commercial hands on area available as well as a paid tour to participate with glass workers.”

“This is one of my favorite stores in town. I love how cute this store is and how many cool local artist sell there. Highly recommend checking it out. Great for locals and a must for visiting if you're from out of town!”
“Cool place to go to if you're into local art without pretention. It's a nice exhibition space with various pieces for sale. The collection is varied, so there's probably something here for everyone. And there's nothing over $6,000.
There's also a very small gift shop.”

“We had an amazing experience at a wine and canvas class!Our instructor Madison was extremely helpful and detailed with her instructions, the class was paced very well to ensure the 2 ½ hours was fully utilized and everyone finished!We will definitely be going back for more classes!”
