Very few great deals. A lot of the wooden furniture is damaged. Lots of bar stools.

Good selections at much more reasonable prices that this store commonly offers. You need to look over the pieces as many of the items are missing shelves and need some kind of repair.... But if you are a little handy, you can fix up any small or med size blems with some elbow grease. Look over what you are getting before you buy

I’m sure the mark up is huge , but it’s pretty quality.

I had a great experience here purchasing a large cabinet for my dining room. They accommodated me picking it up on a day when the store was "closed" and helped load it into my truck. They had it packaged up safely when I came to pick it up too. The store selection can be hit or miss (e.g. an "on sale" $500 dog bed), but if you're patient and lucky can get a great deal. I got the normally $3000 trucco cabinet for a $400 final clearance. Great cabinet.

huge selection of items, but starting prices are so high that even with markdowns and sales it doesn’t feel like you’re getting a bargain at an outlet… especially considering the ding and dent condition of many items. i love BD, but was hoping for more of a deal at an outlet.

This is a Ballard Designs outlet- shoppers can score great furniture/decor at a great discount! While shopping, I found a rug for my son's nursery at 80% off the listed price. I would advise shoppers to thoroughly inspect the furniture before purchasing, as some of the items are damaged. Staff are friendly and helpful!

I ran into this store by accident and after visiting, here's what I understand. Ballard Designs is a company owned by Williams Sonoma, and has a similar feel to it as Pottery Barn. This is the first outlet in Louisville and was originally announced as a temporary location; however, it must be doing well enough to have stayed in place. It took over the space vacated by the now bankrupt Steinmart. There is nothing fancy about this spot. It very much feels like a dumping site for furniture and is organized by type/room. It is a land of rejected, broken pieces. The signage attempts to excite you - 50% off or more - but then you flip the tag to find out it is still outrageously overpriced on top of being broken. The facility is large, and most workers were either at the front desk or helping people wedge items into their trucks. I appreciated watching the quiet nature of the staff today as a customer carried on a conversation with the customer service team via her cell phone. She was a lot to handle and you could tell they didn't want to escalate the situation. Apparently this spot has a following. Bring a large pocketbook ... and duct tape.
