Branch stated that I was not the account owner because I have an out of state license. I just moved to Louisville this week. After I left, they closed my account without notifying me. I called to offer any proof of identity they could need, and they stated that they will not take anything, and that I need to go back to the state of Florida, and that they are unwilling to assist me. I have never experienced anything like this. I have filed a complaint and will contact the BBB as well.

Every time I try and cash a check here there’s a problem. They want you to open an account… which is fine, but they definitely call and verify any check written to someone black more than someone that’s white.

Terrible place to do business. Waited in the drive thru for 15 no answer then came inside to wait while other tellers aren’t even answering or even saying hello be right with you. Parking lot sucks too

I have been banking with BB&T for 4 years and up, but since they became Truist, this is some of joke banking ever. They blocked my mobile banking because they said it’s suspicious transaction even I only have auto-payment money in and auto-withdraw bills, or Zelle to another bank account. And I went back from square zero between went to branch, branch told me to call, I called and they told me to go to branch. I literally had to step out of my work just to be here try to get my mobile online bank unlock so I can do my business things. And standing here 40 mins and waiting for someone take her lunch and not know if my mobile banking problems can be sold or not. I swear I will switch to another bank because this is the worst humiliation banking ever. You got your money, you should go to the bank where they treat you as a customer.

Terrible!!!!!!!!!! I pulled up and sent my deposit slip and money in and I never received any acknowledgment. Then someone else pulls up in another row and they acknowledges him. Then when I call for the teller she tells me someone will be with me shortly. I explain to her that I was there before him and ask for my stuff back. Not sure if it was unprofessionalism or racism but I wasn’t happy at all.

I never had any issue when bb&t was here but now it's the most unorganized bank I have ever seen. I do not recommend this bank to anybody.

Since merging with Truist this bank has really lowered its standards. DO NOT BANK WITH THEM. They will steal from you with hidden fees and getting a person on the phone is near impossible.

Their service is apathetic at best. They really don’t care how many people are waiting or how long you have been waiting. Then when it is your turn they make simple tasks as difficult as possible.

Terrible people working at this office they are liars and pathetic. I had a check to cash, I called because the other branch didn't have enough to cash. The lady lied and said yes we can cash it, I get there less than 30 min, around 4 and it's we already balance the vault. My time my money and the gas wasted coming there on a lie. I feel like it was because I was black, no proof there. But if I was at a job and shut down my equipment an hour before closing I'm sure that's not policy and if it is close the bank at 4 that's really inconvenient for customers needing a check cashed.Part 2I decided to use my lunch break the next day, and go back to this bank,the Broadway location still had no money at least they were honest. But this Bardstown branch same lady 1130 and this time they don't have access to the vault and the lady that does. Get this the lady that does is at another branch giving lunch breaks. A bank not having 6,000 dollars. Again is it because I'm black.??? No proof I'm sure if Sue or Bill needed to with draw 10,000 all would be said big or small bills. If you looking for a bank nothing true about Truist on Bardstown. Had to drive all the way to st Matthews and those people were lovely.

Please i am begging you to do something about the people that are living on your property! They herass everybody! There is a woman and a man constantly fighting. Spitting and hitting each other! Drinking alchohal and asking for money or whatever you can spare! Is this what BB&T represents to the customers? I am a customer and this is so pathetic! I have asked more than once to have this taken care of. If you do not take care of it yourself i willgo downtown and file a complaint against the bank.

I have been banking with BB&T/ now Truist (1339 Bardstown Rd in the Highlands) going on 14 years. Previously, with other banks, I was used to personnel, not only cashiers but also bank managers of all levels come & go to other branches with some frequency. This has not been the case with BB&T/Truist.Knowing I can count on working with someone familiar with my finances, and who has been doing so for years, engenders trust. Trust & finances rarely occur in any of my sentences. But BBT/Truist bankers have earned my trust. Just wish the name change will become official soon!

I have been a BB&T customer since before they were BB&T never had any problems. I have decided to look for a new bank because of their lack of customer service and respect! Both online and in branches, people are rude and disrespectful. I'm tired of my money sitting in a bank that treats customers like crap. I never had fees or anything of that nature but I have heard they try to hide fees and costs especially when it comes to their mortgage department. SO I WOULD PICK A DIFFERENT BANK!
