Very clean store with customer service people who were very helpful and friendly. There were a lot of empty spots on shelves and as expected what I wanted was in one of those spots.

I honestly don't know why corporate doesn't step in and either teach their associates customer service or clean house. I purchased a TV 5 days ago and purchased a $150 warranty. I noticed it had a few dead pixels in the corner. I attempted to exchange it today and was told because it's a "manufacturer defect" they would not exchange but could only consume my warranty to get another. Which at that point I would have to buy another $150 warranty if I wanted it. Both the return associate and manager told me I only had 72 after purchase to recognize and return a product with a defect. After getting no where I left and called corporate. I was informed that everything they told me was a lie. There was no 72 hour policy and they would not have to consume my warranty for an exchange. Corporate set up an exchange easily. I would recommend to anyone buying anything of high value from this store, to learn the actual policies before hand bc they will definitely try to gaslight you and get you spend more money on a warranty.

They sell 80 mm fans new cheaper than the used ones at a local computer shop. Go figure. Routers and lan switches are no longer computer parts. Now, they're part of the "smart" stuffs. Don't be like me and go to the computer hardware expecting answers. Meander to the pretty LED smart lights like a moth. Barely any staff around. I'm surprised staff members didn't ask me if I was lost. They had 3 dishwashers, folks. $300, $500, $700.Interesting. Games are now pieces of paper. Some routers are, too.

Floor associates were helpful if you needed them, otherwise they were not bothering you every minute. They didn't even bother me to tell me the store was closing or closed. They let me finish my selection and purchase, while they were doing whatever they needed to do before they left to ho home. This is the only location I shop at over the past 2 years since moving to Louisville, and I have never had any problems with returns, exchanges, ordering and picking up online orders at this location. And never feel pressured or rushed while shopping here.

Picked up a new phone this morning at my local Best Buy store. I asked whether someone could help me set it up (actually, just make sure I was able to put the new SIM card in). Person in charge sent me to Geek Squad desk. Kid at desk who was doing absolutely nothing (store wasn't busy) told me I would have to purchase their $180 Extra Special Customer coverage (or whenever the heck they call it) if I wanted help. Since I only go into Best Buy maybe once every 5 years, this meant I would spend $180 to have someone help me put a SIM card in my phone. Needless to say, I opted out of that generous offer.Obviously, I'm not going to buy anything from "Best" Buy in future. The whole point of that store is that (in the past) there was always someone willing to help you. Not anymore. If I want no help, I'll buy my phones from Amazon or Walmart.

My journey as a Best Buy customer has involved significant expenditure, well beyond $5,000, with a recent purchase of various electronics totaling around this amount. This includes TVs, Sony headphones, among other items. Despite my previous confidence in Best Buy’s expertise in electronics, my latest encounter, particularly with their Geek Squad warranty service, has left me deeply disappointed.Among my purchases were two TVs: a premium LG 75-inch for approximately $3,000 and a Toshiba Fire TV for $200-300. The LG, now out of warranty, continues to work fine, but the Toshiba, still under warranty, began malfunctioning within three months of purchase. As a computer engineer, I attempted all standard troubleshooting methods, including multiple factory resets, but the problems persisted. When I contacted the Best Buy store on Outerloop for assistance, they directed me to Geek Squad. Initially, Geek Squad acknowledged my warranty and asked me to bring the TV to the store. However, this is where the frustration began. On my first visit, I was turned away because it was past 8 pm. On my next visit, I was informed that they couldn’t service TVs larger than 32 inches in-store, which contradicted their earlier instructions. After waiting 20 minutes to speak with the manager, Patrick, I received no assistance other than being told once again to arrange a home service through Geek Squad. Despite explaining the situation and requesting some accommodation for the inconvenience, I was met with indifference.Final Thoughts:This experience has significantly tainted my view of Best Buy and Geek Squad. The lack of consistency, empathy, and effective customer service, especially for a long-standing customer who has invested significantly in their products, is disconcerting. The experience starkly contrasts with the more straightforward and customer-focused services offered by retailers like Walmart.Given the complexity and the time commitment required to resolve this issue, and considering my busy professional life, I have reluctantly decided to discontinue my efforts with Geek Squad. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of reliable customer service and efficient warranty support. Unfortunately, Best Buy’s services did not live up to my expectations, and I will be more cautious in my future electronics purchases and the selection of warranty services.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I ordered a TV fir pickup, got my notification it was ready, drove to the store only to be told they canceled the order due to not being able to fund the product. Then one of the guys show up at the counter with my order saying it was overlooked. I was told by the store worker to reorder it right there on the spot and payagain. As soon as I did the website says pickup will now be Friday even tho I'm looking right at my TV! A supervisor was called and agreed I would have to come back Friday for an order sitting right in front of me that should have never been canceled because they had it all al9ng and showed it to me and made me pay twice! I canceled again and I won't be back. And they wonder why Amazon is killing them in sales and service?? I ordered the same TV for the same price and was delivered to me free and on time as promised!

They have bad customer service. I was going in to purchase a tv that was on sale. The young lady at the front door told me had back to television area and she will send someone to help me.So I waited for about 5 minutes, then I start asking the staff that was walking past me if they work television area. Finally the manager past me and I ask if he know where the worker that worked this area. The manager check on some device he was holding and said I was the 2nd person in line . You think the manager would helped . I was tired of waiting so I eventually walked around more and found and carried the 43 inch tv myself.I worked retail for over 10 years, I always help out in any area of store I work. Helped my co workers with projects and anywhere as needed.

I came in knowing exactly what I wanted. I was surprised they had a new system for getting assistance, which included a queue. I added myself to the queue and was helped almost instanly. I really wish I knew the young man's name that helped us. He was so quick and thorough. It was the week of Thanksgiving and I was looking to get my Dad a Macbook for Christmas. We were in line within probably 30 minutes or less including the time we were browsing. Super thankful for an easy experience.

I loved the attention of the people there, I just got all my home appliances from there and so far I have no complaints. My TV came earlier than I thought so the online store gets 5 stars too!! Thanks ☺️

We ordered a TV on a Black Friday sale that clearly said it was available online to be picked up the next day. We show up check in and are told 20 minutes until our order will be ready. We wait 40 minutes and decide to check on the progress and are told it will just be "some time today". We get tired of waiting and leave. Come back nearly 7 hours later to check on the order again and they tell us it's not even in the store at all they have NONE of them. Had to cancel our order because we probably never would have received it since they didn't seem to care about the order in the first place. DO NOT BUY A TV HERE. Maybe just don't order anything online from here because they clearly do not know what they have in stock.
