I'm glad to have a bookstore nearby but the books are always a mess and some of the workers are VERY unfriendly or just outright rude. They're rarely busy but some of the workers act like your meer presence is offensive to them. Then again sometimes you might get this one lady who has to be the nicest retail worker I've ever met. It's a toss up.Hell, pay me to come in on the weekend and organize those shelves...

Books a million is a fun chain of bookstores. You can find a lot of niknaks such as Harry Potter, Disney, and dnd merch. I like their used books as well. My other favorite is their christian section and bibles. I enjoy the variety. They also have a fun cafe if you want to get a beverage too. This location like many others is in a mall so there is plenty of parking in the parking lot

Went in to pick up some books we ordered online. When we got there the woman next to the front counter named Rebecca rudely told us that we have to the center of the store to pick up the books we ordered online. She had us follow her to the counter in the center of the store and told us that they couldn't find of the books and said that we could pay 5 dollars in shipping cost to get it delivered to our house. The whole reason we order for pick up at the store was to avoid paying for shipping. She was rude thru entire process of us asking for a refund for the one book in stock when we decided to purchase on Amazon instead since the shipping was free and cheaper overall. She was huffing and puffing and some eye rolling thru out the process of giving us a refund. She shorted us a dollar and some change. When we point the shortage of money given back us she then got the rest in change and threw it on the counter and the very condescendingly told us to have a very nice day and walked off. I won't be coming and I will be telling my friends and family not to come here at all. Would rate 0 stars if possible

I placed a pick up order today, for the first time. When I went to get it, only one of the books was actually in stock, but I was given the option to change the delivery method to shipping in the email I received.Rebecca (curly hair, glasses) told me “yeah we couldn’t find the other book, but shipping is only like $5.”I chose pickup to avoid shipping fees, so I asked to just return/refund the book that was in stock (both books were cheaper on Amazon and the prime shipping was free, I just liked going to books a million). She was condescending and argumentative about why I didn’t just want to pay for the shipping before saying “ugh… I… can give you your money back, I guess.” She was clearly annoyed as we walked up front to the counter. She initially shorted me a dollar and some change (I think she was looking at the price before tax) and when I showed her my receipt, she huffed again and said “oookaayyyyy” and took her time, then THREW the rest of my change (she made sure put the dollar in change too) on the counter before saying “you have a great day now.”Lesson learned- I’ll just stick with Amazon when buying books online, and use any other book store for shopping in person?♀️

Huge variety of periodicals, books on all subjects and references etc. As good as the Free Public Library but a retailer.

I am really enjoying the books you all have, I can finally go to a store that sells good quality books and more! But I must say that the inappropriate manga you have near the typical anime/manga books such as naruto and one peice have me a bit on edge. I wouldn't want some kid who intended to get a naruto or zelda manga end up getting some adult manga because he saw it.

More accurately 3.5 stars,Pros: large selection, well organized, good staff, good for all ages, good deals on paperbacks, hard to pass up collectibe items.Cons: this place has extremely high prices on most of its books(i paid 40 on a paperback). Not a very convenient location on the far end of the city, nowhere to sit inside and pick over choices, prices are not clearly listed on books, shelves, or anywhere.

Great bookstore, always have the new titles. Staff is friendly if not very fast at checkout. But overall it serves it's purpose.

Fun place to browse. Always find surprising things.Checking out is a little weird now that they're using the old cafe as a checkout station but don't have signage to indicate it exists anywhere near the store exit. We got to the four exit checkout stations and were confused by every register saying "this register is closed."When we asked the person working at a "closed" cash register if this is where we pay a manager who had quietly observed all of our prior confusion chastised us for not using the out-of-sight, no signage register on the entrance side of the store.Found some great stuff at great prices. Lots of variety in what they sell.
