Clean, comfortable room price was fair. Bathrooms were clean. Not a lot of restaurants nearby but the local barbecue place to the north was good.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Full sized refrigerator with a small kitchen. The bed was so comfortable. The only issue I had was checking in. I was by myself as a young female and the front desk man was less than professional. He was texting on his personal phone ti make sure my room was ready and making me wait until it was confirmed ready. I didn’t understand this whatsoever and I really felt like he was luring me to my room. I was too nervous to head up to my room alone so I left and waited for my husband and myself to return together at a later time. After all, our stay was great. The guy was just weird.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was not with the hotel or staff, just the people staying at the hotel with dogs who did not bother to clean up their pet p*** in the large area provided. Hotel should fine those individuals as the area is for all guests, kids and pets alike.Rooms: Room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom was large enough and wi-fi was quite good. Again, staff was great.

This hotel is ran by such a unorganized and miscommunicated staff. While staying I never got my room cleaned after over 2 weeks of asking because I worked 2nd shift. After it being overpriced for what it was worth I decided to go to air bnbs. The hotel decides to charge me a extra week weeks after I checked out. I called the hotel for refund once Sandy the GM stated she refunded it because they didn’t have me checked out. I called on May 30th to state I have still yet to receive refund Sandy stated she got sidetracked when doing it the first time I called so she was doing it right then this is May 30th. Which I checked out on May 13th!! Well it’s June 20th I have yet to still receive my refund. I go in there to speak about it 6/19 and Sandy lies stating she didn’t speak to me on May 30th and made my stay all the way to May 31st when she claimed she spoke to me. She’s unprofessional, a liar, lazy, and at this point a thief! It’s not my bank because they stated the refund was never posted on the hotels behalf it’s Sandy. I don’t know why or how she became a general manager it’s very sad how these people want to get over on hard working people just trying to have somewhere comfortable to stay while working. I wouldn’t recommend this overpriced hotel any day.Noteworthy details: I have proof of these calls from my AT&T app on the dates of May. Sandy does not need to be a general manager.

This may be the best motel I've ever stayed at. It had everything you would want. Very roomy and the staff was excellent. The beds were great and the pillows are to die for. Very clean. I'd give 20 stars if I could!!!

We stayed out a little farther than most of the dog show people but I would do it again in a heart beat. Nicole at the desk was a 5 star employee. We haven't seen as nice, kind and helpful hotel employee in a very long time. Loved the pet area. It was Great to let the boys off leash and not worry about them getting hit by a car. We are keeping that location a little secret of our own. LOL. Thanks to everyone there for a great experience. Tell Miss Nicole our black Flatcoats sent their xoxos.Rooms: Easier to travel with dogs in a room with kitchen immunities. We're tired after all day at the show.Noteworthy details: See comments.

Do not use this hotel to book a room for the Derby! We booked a year in advance and received an email that our reservation had been canceled a few weeks ago. We now have tickets to the derby with no where to stay and most likely won’t be able to go now because of this place. There are other reviewers who have had the same thing happen to them from this hotel. Ridiculously greedy of this hotel

DO NOT STAY HERE! Very Shady hotel! I had a reservation for May 5-7 2023 for the Kentucky Derby. I made this reservation one year in advance because this is the hardest time to get a hotel in Louisville. Fast forward to today (2/28/23) and the hotel cancelled the reservation themselves. I called the front desk , was told no they didn’t do it and to call corporate. Called IHG who also called front desk and was told they cancelled the reservation because they were not allowing anyone to check in on May 5. So basically they cancelled my reservation to get a new one that would cost more as it is being booked later and also a longer stay. Greedy, Shady, and refused to reinstate my reservation or offer up any alternatives.

Great "extended stay" with rooms available that have full sized refrigerators, a small sink and stove, desktop space, and even cabinetry! Close to the river, several restaurants, and downtown but far enough away from downtown to avoid the hustle and bustle. Great breakfasts and amenities, clean, and pretty modern. Highly recommended if you're staying in town a few days!

The rooms were very nice, and the hotel in general was very wonderful. A lot of amenities and things to do. However service was not good at all, the guy that worked for second shift said our card got declined 3 times. We then switched cards and it went through. We got charged 4 separate times (Over $600 on our cards) and they said they couldn't do anything about it that on there end it only showed the one charge, we are out a lot of money on new years day while we're travelling.

It is clear this hotel and IHG value profit over their customers. We booked rooms at this location for a reasonable rate for Oaks and Derby weekend in May 2023. They were booked well in advance in May 2022 and were $500 or less in total per room for 3 nights. We made travel plans and were excited to take the trip until the rooms were cancelled from my account without my permission. Both the hotel manager and IHG deny any responsibility. The hotel manager never contacted me after multiple calls and the best IHG could do was suggest my account had been hacked. Why would someone hack my IHG account just to cancel reservations in Louisville 6 months in advance? Perhaps it's because most rooms in Louisville go for $1000+ per night during KY Derby weekend? Terrible management and customer service. Will never book with IHG again.

We had a relaxing two night stay at this Candlewood Suites in Louisville. The location was good. Only about a 10 to 15 minute drive to downtown. The staff at the front desk were alright. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Slept really well. Everything worked in the room. No complaints. Would stay here again

This is an excellent choice for people who want to be close to downtown, and interstates, but not right in downtown. It is an easy ride downtown, along the riverfront. It is near a large park for walking and the hotel and park are dog friendly. BEST of ALL is the quality staff who work there. Management and front desk staff are so welcoming, and customer service is their focus. I can't say enough about how great the staff is.

Dirty.Dirty toilet. Dirty shower. Dirty desk. Rust covers all the metal in the room (I'm guessing due to no ventilation). Just the entire place made me feel gross. Unfortunately the entire area is booked solid, so it was this room or my car, but my car was looking like a better choice.Holy hell - I got a key card with zero verification. "What room?" And handed a card. No checking if I am actually staying in that room. Lock your doors.

I discovered it, while delivering an order. I love how peaceful, \\u0026 clean it is. If I'm ever employed long enough, I want to stay there.
