Caufield's Novelty is a third generation, family-owned costume and party supply company founded in 1920. It is a big store with everything you need, described as crazy cool and one of the favorite places to visit. The physical location is a big building separated into huge rooms, taking up over 40,000 square feet. It boasts a wide range of products including costumes, wigs, theatrical and effects makeup, masks, accessories, haunted house props, horror collectibles, magic tricks, gag gifts, practical jokes, and seasonal items. There is a large variety of decorations from vintage to full-size animatronics and excellent props. It has themed areas that are really well done. More than a store, it features a year-round dungeon filled with animatronics and multiple in-store photo ops. The staff is awesome, friendly, helpful, fun, and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to assist customers. Prices are on par with other major retailers. If you like weird and spooky, it is an amazing place with lots of variety and options.

It was the night before Halloween and I needed a wig for my husband's costume, very easy to find, staff really helped and I was checked out quickly. Parked in front of the building. There were a lot of people there and was in a part of downtown that isn't that safe, but it all worked out perfectly.
