Been a customer for years. I’m recently having some issues and I’ve tried calling this Shelbyville rd branch all week and tried pressing every menu option and there is NOT a way to speak to an actual person. I had to get in my car and drive there. Does anytime know how to reach them by phone???? I need to talk to someone again and don’t want to drive there. I’m seriously considering switching banks because it’s scary to think you can’t call and talk to someone and when you call the National Chase # they are useless.

Practices blatant and highly discriminatory behaviors against native Americans. Like millions of women, I got married and needed to change my last name on my account. I followed their procedures as requested (twice) to mail the correct documentation in to them. Both times they sent me a letter back, saying that it was not acceptable. I called customer service and they told me to go into a Chase location and it would be no problem and to just show them my drivers license and that they would change it.The first Chase bank I went to told me that they would not help me because they were a financial center and to go to a different branch. It was obviously racial profiling. I then make an appointment at this location after calling them and explaining the situation. 20 minutes prior to my appointment time, I receive a call from them asking if they can give my appointment time away because they have people waiting at the bank that are walk-ins. How rude! I made an appointment and waited for my appointment day. I wasn’t late for the appointment and in fact, I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time as planned. I go in to find there is not one person at any of the teller lines. There are two people in the waiting area. That doesn’t sound like a big rush to me that you need to give my appointment away. It seems you were trying to prevent me from coming in. They informed me that the first location could’ve helped me and should not have sent me to another location.I gave them my current legal drivers license with my changed last name and state certified and stamped copy of my marriage license (they never even looked at the marriage license). Then told me that they can’t change my last name. That I need to go wait for them to send me another letter in the mail and then bring that letter into the bank with me and then they’ll do it. Of course they won’t email me this letter or electronically send it to the bank right then. Since they do business like they’re still in the 1980s maybe they could use their fax machine to send it over??Every other bank and credit card company that I deal with, instantly changed my last name online or over the phone with no issues. This bank has had me jumping through hoops for two years over a simple last name change when I have the documentation. There can be no other reason than it’s clearly discriminatory. I closed my account with them immediately. Funny that they could close my account with no ID issues.

Erica in the drive-thru line was extremely helpful and friendly. I kept making mistakes and she patiently helped me get where I needed to go and explained how to use the vacuum thingy ?

Every Friday I stop at the ATM to withdraw cash for the weekend, and every Friday for the last 6 weeks the ATM hasn't been able to dispense cash. They removed the second ATM machine, so there isn't another option for people in the area who have to be at work before the bank opens. It seems like filling the ATM should be a priority?

Long time customer of Chase. Greeted by a nice young lady. I needed to get something notarized. Another nice man behind the counter went back to the gentleman to let him know that I was there and what I was needing and he told him it would be 5 minutes. Over 40 minutes later I finally had to leave to run another errand. Nobody else during that time asked if I had been helped. Complete waste of my time.

I used drive thru and 2 lanes were closed. I'm not sure if you can actually go inside to do your business.

People were nice I suppose... not that they want you to talk to a person. You walk in and are greeted by presumably a manager (??). They ask you what you want and then walk you right to the inside ATM.In this case, I needed to make a large cash withdrawal in specific denominations. The person explained to me that the machine was able to do that, although I had to make two different transactions to get what I wanted. Ultimately, it took longer than if a teller (which they had two free - no other customers in the bank) had helped me and more of the work was on me (counting rather than it be counted out in front of me). It’s very clear that Chase is grooming us to be taken care of exclusively by their machines. I’m a middle aged guy and can appreciate an ATM when I need it but also would like a little customer service. This isn’t a COVID thing either... similar thing happened last year.
