I took my dog, Charlie here one morning. He was very sick! They had the most amazing covid procedures in place. But that didn’t decrease the amount of attention Charlie got from the staff. They were so friendly and careful. The doctor called me and answered all my (and I had a lot) of questions and reassured me that he would be okay. They gave me prices upfront and also options I could take. I left with medication, food and detailed directions on what to do to care for my pup. I also called the next morning because I am a worrier and they assured me that it’s normal and told me to call back if he didn’t improve. It’s been 72 hours and Charlie is making a full recovery! I am so thankful for Jefferson animal hospital.

The vet nearly caused me to have a heart attack. She went to get toenails trimmed. He called and said her heart was enlarged and was going to pass away. i was hysterical i asked if she was sedated he said no. my boyfriend would not leave her and she was out cold. she got her toenails trimmed somplace else and is happy as she can be. No problems at all.

They are GREAT with my Shepherd. He's pretty easy going, but he gets plenty of treats and love while he's in for an appointment anyway. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful!

I came in late night with my very sick puppy, they took him straight back to the room, started trying to tend to him, but it was too late. They made sure he wasnt in pain and made him comfortable. They all were so VERY kind, understanding and great with me, my daughter and my beautiful puppy Teddy. I asked for a clip of his hair and they cut and put in a nice lil keepsake for me. I love this place and ALL the ppl that work there!!! THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH!!!

We had to take our beloved 14-15 year old lab, Jon Paul, in on Friday night due to a sudden illness. While we've been to JAH before, this would end up being the first time we would say goodbye to a loved one there in their care. The staff is always top notch but on this visit, there was constant attention, I can't remember a time so sad when I felt so supported. Dr. Critchlow worked together with us patiently and compassionately through each test/result as we made our way d

We had to take our 13 year old dachshund here last night. She was very sick but I expected/hoped that she would only need antibiotic and fluids. Her blood work came back and she was very sick. They were going to keep her and try to help her but she was just too sick. They were able to get us before we left and took us back and gave us a private room to hold our baby while she took her last breath. They gave us all the time we needed. They were very kind and the vet reassured me that there was nothing we could have done. They helped us understand our cremation options. The biggest thing was that they gave us all the time and space we needed. It was such a shock as everything happened so suddenly. It was nice (as nice as the situation could be) to have time to hold her and love her one last time.
