Been using this place for a hear now. All of the sudden they can't compound my meds because there's a generic version available? Makes no sense because there has always been a generic version available..

Just a helpful reminder of what you can and can’t do as a pharmacist regarding HIPPA driectly from the legislation itself:164.510(b)(3) Limited uses and disclosures when the individual is not present. If the individual is not present, or the opportunity to agree or object to the use or disclosure cannot practicably be provided because of the individual's incapacity or an emergency circumstance, the covered entity may, in the exercise of professional judgment, determine whether the disclosure is in the best interests of the individual and, if so, disclose only the protected health information that is directly relevant to the person's involvement with the individual's health care. A covered entity may use professional judgment and its experience with common practice to make reasonable inferences of the individual's best interest in allowing a person to act on behalf of the individual to pick up filled prescriptions, medical supplies, X-rays, or other similar forms of protected health information.Now, if a person calls you, you have no idea who they are or if they are who they say you are. So what professional judgement are you using in this case? How their voice sounds? Who they say they are? Very secure practice of compliance I’m sure.I respect your intentions but I’m sorry the particular way you have gone about it is completely nonsensical. I’m giving you a 5 star because while I am angry, all I want to do is be able to support my partner when needed not trash your business.

This store compound care plus store is the best store both professionally and helpful. Everyone is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would hight recommend them for all your prescription and supplement needs.

These people went above and beyond for us. My dog is in congestive heart failure and needed meds. I called them as they were the only pharmacy open on a saturday to get the meds (at 5 lbs she is too small for most normal meds ) They said they do not compound on the weekend and when I told them about my dog desperately needing them they swung into action. I had her meds in a short time and I can spend the rest of the weekend breathing a little easier. These guys are amazing and I highly recommend them.

I have a prescription for my calico cat Then I pick up every two weeks and they have been a wonderful in getting compound medication ready in a timely manner. They are very courteous and efficient when checking out and The pharmacist is readily Available with any questions that you may have. I was told to call 24 hours prior to needing the medication which I did and they had it done in three hours that day ( to be fair they had the ingredients on hand! I lucked out!) so that was a stroke of luck and I was very appreciative!

I have been using this pharmacy for 5 or 6 years now for my compounded prescriptions as well as supplements. The staff is always friendly, helpful and professional. They are always willing to talk to me or answer any questions I might have. I love the way they text me when my prescription is ready. Their turn around time is always good as well. I would definitely recommend this pharmacy to anyone. :)

Compound Pharmacy is an excellent family owned business!! My experience each time I’ve gone in there has been a pleasant, as well as informative one!!Today, I met Katrina, one of the Pharmacist. WOW CARD TO HER!!!She spent a good deal of time with me, on the phone and in person, serving as my Advocate!!I feel/believe that I have received the best care possible regarding my prescription relating to my needs!!Must, ALSO, give a WOW card to Julie, the tech!!Always informative and personable….. and caring!!Thank you COMPOUND PHARMACY FOR EXCELLENT CARE?
