Eugene was FANTASTIC. Buying my first pc in 5 years i was hesitant on who to go to. Custom Bytes was FANTASTIC, but really all the credit goes to Eugene. He knows his stuff and has excellent customer service. This guy will do great things, keep him as long as you can!

So sorry to ever post a critical review but you may want to know I took my computer in bc I had a hard drive crash. They sold me a computer they said was new. Four months later a BitLocker security program shut it completely down and froze everything. I had never heard of Bitlocker and the program wanted a 15 digit code to undo it I didn’t install it there was no 15 digit passcode nor could ANY computer person fix it. The person who had the computer before me must have installed it. I trued talking to the manager twice and they said there was nothing they could do. I was in Houston caring for aging parents and needed my computer. To get it usable a computer company had to try to break the security program ( which could not be done) and install a new hard drive. It cost a total of $500 for the labor and then replacing drive. I lost a lot of data and the information I was working on for a conference.Fast forward a few months, while at my parents nursing home someone accidentally knocked my computer onto floor and hurt the frame around screen. I could still use it and had all my data so I took it back to Computer Bytes ( bc I had bought it there). They said it’d cost too much to fix and that if I bought a new computer they’d give a ten percent off. There was no way in world I would trust buying a computer where my previous computer was sold under false pretenses. Plus ten percent is ridiculous!I walked out and bought a computer at another store. Beware if you go there ????? it cost a LOT of money to learn my hard lesson. If they had just said “I’m sorry. Let me make it right,” I would probably have bought there.” BUT they didn’t. They admitted the computer was “mislabeled ” when they sold it to me, but they just offered a TEN percent discount on a different computer that just as easily could have been “mislabeled” or refurbished and have its own problems. Again I don’t post critical reviews but this one had to be shared!

Highly recommend Custom Bytes if you have a computer that needs repairs. I had been experiencing black screen crashes and could not figure out the cause. I built this computer about a month ago and was absolutely sick something was wrong. I took it to Custom Bytes and they were able to find the issue and correct it immediately. They are very honest and easy to work with. I will definitely be going back to them in the future! Big shout out to Logan for working on everything.

Eugene is the bomb! Went in looking for a PC build that was on the website and him and the other person hooked me up and built the entire thing same day, which no one else in town would or could do. First time here and I will definitely be back!

I came in on EXTREMELY short notice. my SSD was bricked for whatever reason. they were able to have my issue resolved within less than 24 hours. and that was with them telling me they had 2 other customers ahead of me. the pricing for the repairs was more than reasonable and the staff were friendly as all hell! I will be back!!!!!

Went in for a stock CPU cooler to replace ours the day it broke, and Custom Bytes gave us one free of charge. Excellent customer service over the phone and in person. Will definitely be recommending to our friends when they begin building their PC’s.

I’ve had the same computer for almost ten years and I needed an upgrade. I have absolutely no knowledge about computers and buying one was a daunting task. I went in today somewhat discouraged because I’ve never been before. Their employee Eugene helped me out. He answered all my questions and gave me honest advice. I am very happy I went here instead of any of the other stores. I found a pc that fit my budget and was the perfect size for my small desk!

I called Custom Bytes on a whim to see if I could acquire some mounting bracket pieces my motherboard was missing. They were able to completely accommodate my request and gave me the metal/plastic pieces completely for free, while also providing me thermal paste to use free of charge.The kindness and expert customer service from Custom Bytes completely flipped my mood for the day, and I would happily recommend them if you are looking for PC assistance.
