My husband and I were blown away by the excellent customer service we received here. We were shopping for a new Echo leaf blower. We first stopped at Home Depot because we had a coupon. We had 2 Home Depot employees trying to help us get information about the leaf blower. Not one employee knew anything about the product which is locked up behind a cage. Neither one offered to get a box out to look at or inspect. We left frustrated and uniformed. My husband wanted to stop at Do It Best in Fairdale, KY. Employee Jack Butler not only helped us but he took the time to explain everything he knew about the Echo leaf blower. He was extremely knowledgeable, straight forward and personable. If you need any lawn equipment, this is your one stop shop. Jack's level of customer service is very hard to come by anymore. This is my new favorite hardware store!

I do business with these folks as I maintain a church property. I purchased a battery powered mower from them last fall. It was a Green Machine which is not a brand they carry. They had purchased it at a trade show and Brian sold it to us for a great price. It lasted less than one season. Brian contacted the company and long story short, they refused to warranty it. They allowed me to give it back for full credit on a great GAS POWERED mower. This is great customer service! IMHO these are the kind of places it pays to do business with. I am confident no big box store would have given me the time of day. They will continue to get every bit of business I can send their way. 😁

Customer service was amazing! Delivered my salt to my car. Some people came in behind and they asked everyone if they could help. I definitely will recommend this hardware store to anyone.

I've been in Fairdale about 10 years. This is a local hardware store of the old American mom 'n pop variety. They don't have everything under the sun, they aren't as cheap as Walmart or whatever, but I'll tell you that when I walk in, someone is always ready to help out and lead me right to what they have on offer. It's closer, much better service, a time-saver and time is money. The owner even gave my new business a nice little project to do there. An asset to the area!

Everything is overpriced in here, even if they do have what you're looking for, you're better off going to homedepot or lowes.

Unfortunately they didn't have what I needed. I was greeted by a friendly employee who seemed more than willing to help me. I think she even liked their job. Nice to see these days. This hardware store had so many things, packed, but not cluttered. I'm glad someone jumped to help me though because I wouldn't have known where to start. Great service.I should note that what I needed was very outdated, but they did have very similar products.
