This place is smelly, dirty, and they don't let you carry tote bags inside. They took my bag and put it up front while I grabbed my stuff. I don't blame the employee who informed me of this policy; in fact, I'm sure there's a good reason for this considering how some people can be. Regardless, I don't want to go somewhere I can't hold my purse, and some stranger is charged with looking after it. The workers seem nice enough, it's just not a good store.

I was greeted upon entering the store which was a plus. Additionally, there was quite a bit of merchandise still on pallets waiting to be stocked. I don't have to wait in line when checking out but the associate was talking in her blue tooth headphones while checking me out and I thought she was speaking to me.

One of the employees accused my daughter of shoplifting the alarm at the door did not sound she followed her to car and hit her backing her eye and also bruising her shoulder.

I regret to share that my recent visit to the Dollar General in Louisville was unsatisfactory. The employees displayed discourteous behavior, and I observed mold and mildew growth in areas where fresh foods are stored. During checkout, the employee seemed preoccupied on the phone, neglected to inquire about my preferences, and haphazardly packed my groceries into a single bag. Additionally, they failed to provide a receipt and walked away promptly.Given the concerning state of the store, I cannot recommend it to others. In my opinion, the conditions warrant immediate attention, and I believe it would be prudent to consider shutting down the establishment. I suggest prompt notification to the health department for an assessment of the observed issues. If a negative rating were possible, I would rate this Dollar General a -5.

Staff there are extremely helpful and kind and the prices are affordable.

Basic Dollar General. Homeless guy sitting outside. Group of guys in the parking lot smoking weed. Not the stores fault. I will say this one had more people stocking the shelves than I've seen at others. And the lady at the counter was really nice.
