After a fire at the apartment complex, my unit was uninhabitable. I was finally able to get my hearing aids back, but they looked pretty bad. . Rather than paying hundreds to send them off to be restored, or worse to pay thousands for a new pair, the Lyndon location offered to work on them first. Surprisingly, they were able to clean them up and fix any issues. It cost me a nominal office fee. This is what I consider a small miracle. So very very thankful for the work they do!!

I had an acute onset of dizziness in the middle of the night on June 26, 2022 that was so severe that I ended up being taken by ambulance to the hospital. My symptoms included having no orientation of position and vomiting. The ER performed CT Scan, MRI and a battery of other test. After 4 days in the hospital and evaluation from a Neurologist, I was given a very nebulous diagnosis of Vestibular Neuritis and was treated with steroids. This prescribed treatment plan did not resolve the issue, I was released from the hospital without improvement and because of the obvious uncertainty that existed, the situation was even downplayed by medical personnel. I do not think I can relay how hopeless that my husband and I felt as it did not seem that anyone understood what was occurring. Once home the conditions did not improve, and we started researching and seeking help. After a period of well over a month, and a return visit to a Neurologist, I was referred to the Heuser Institute and was blessed to be assigned to Sarah Groswald. In our first visit, Dr. Groswald displayed to us that she was very adapt within this very obscure vestibular disorder and began to systematically progress through her evaluation and resulting treatment plan. Dr. Groswald took an approach that displayed complete honesty, straightforwardness but a caring supportive hand. I was diagnosed with BPPV and from results of caloric reflex testing was found to have 84% damage to of vestibulocochlear nerve. Dr. Groswald was able to provide the insight we had been desperately seeking and provided tangible information that gave us a light at the end of a very otherwise dark tunnel of unknown. I am ongoing various VOR therapy and continue to improve after approx.. 3 months. The passion for helping people shown by Dr. Groswald and the effort given is remarkable and we thank God for her and the Heuser Institute.

Took my husband to have his hearing checked. Lindsey was our audiologist and she was simply amazing! Aids were recommended, but the loss isn't "significant" and my husband opted to just have annual checks instead of going with the aids. Lindsey wasn't pushy and really was understanding of his current needs and advised on ways to help modify daily activities to get better results. She went so far as to help us understand a setting with his AirPods that will enable him to use them as "somewhat" aids while at work. She whipped her AirPods out...showed us what to do...let him test with HER AirPods and did think twice about it. She really is there to help even if you don't purchase aids! So far the AirPods trick has helped a lot at work and going forward when he does opt for full blown aids we will be going back. I have the utmost respect for healthcare workers that do not push a purchase even when they know the insurance is amazing and would cover most of the cost.

I have had wonderful experiences getting my Vertigo issues treated at the downtown location. Dr. Sarah has been vigilant to get my issue resolved. She’s been thorough to ask about any medical issues and medications that could be hampering the Vertigo. Jewel & Ashley in the front have always been upbeat and professional.
