First time using Highlander cleaner in Shelbyville rd. Lost two pants and they try to give me two different pants, one of them is not my size. They refuse to take an owner ship for their mistake, one of the worst locations with unprofessional staff and unfriendly.

Barely competent at this location. My wife took my suit in to be cleaned along with my regular business attire, and when she went to pick it all up, she asked “Where is the suit?” To which they replied “What suit?” Not only did they send my suit home with another customer, but they wrote “Thieman 12” inside my sport coat and inside the trousers. I don’t appreciate the “Second-hand store” look inside my $1,000+ suit. I’m not impressed , Highland! This is truly incompetent!

I am a pilot who has to have a pressed uniform for work. I don’t understand the difficulty in putting a solid crease in the sleeves. A few of my shirts came out of the bag wrinkled in other areas as well. I’ve been to many cleaners across the country and it’s never been an issue once. Most folks can easily see the epaulette sleeves on the shoulders and recognize it as a uniform shirt. I tried to be patient with Highland Cleaners. I spoke with everyone from the local manager here to the CEO. Eventually I was reassured that notes would be put in the computer and that my shirts would be properly handled. They did it right a few times and then it started happening again. Last time I complained they tried to put the blame on the poor teenage guy in the store. He had nothing to do with this. There were already notes in my file. The problem lies with the folks at your main processing facility. These guys are poorly trained and need to learn how to properly press a shirt. Some of the shirts you returned to me would have failed a uniform inspection if I was in the military. If anyone is airline, military, police, EMS or firefighter looking to get their uniforms professionally cleaned and pressed I highly recommend visiting East End Cleaners across the street. They offer next day pickup and it’s a small family run business. They strive to make their customers happy and greet me with a smile every time. They also know how to properly press a uniform shirt. It’s unfortunate I had to leave such a negative and extensive review, but I gave you guys more than enough opportunities to make this right. ??♂️

I liked the work, not the price. I brought my wedding dress to be dry cleaned (Sophia Tolli, Style Olivine #Y21825 for reference) and it cost $190 with a 4-week turnaround. They did a great job cleaning up the hem - which was really the only part needing any cleaning. I was surprised by the price, though. I am a double-wedding bride (thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic) and this 2022 reception dress had much less material than my original 2021 ceremony dress (Sophia Tolli, Style Deon #Y11715 for reference) that cost me $110 to have dry cleaned at a different dry cleaning business. Now, I will say, Highland Cleaners did a better job than this other business. I was still, however, surprised by the $80 increase for the same TYPE of work on a dress that should have (theoretically) required less TIME for the work. Alas, I find dry cleaning to be one of those services for which the cost will always be a mystery and you just have to pay what you're charged. How nice it would be to have upfront pricing!

I have considered Highland to be the premier dry cleaner in the Louisville-metro area for many years. They offer expert care and services for your clothing. On my most recent visit, I didn't go to my usual location and was disappointed that my clothing wasn't ready at the day indicated when I dropped it off for cleaning. Thankfully, it was ready the next day, and the quality was excellent. Next time, I'll go back to my usual location just to be sure I get my items back in the timeframe expected.

Highland sets the bar when it comes to dry cleaners in this region. From the minute you walk in, you realize that you've came to a high quality place.. relax, though... They make the process quick, easy, informative, and reassuring that you're in the right place. The counter people are friendly and definitely don't short you on southern hospitality, respect, and pleasant attitude. Smiles from all staff throughout the dropping off process. You'll notice amidst their many awards (voted on by the people who live in and around louisville) adorning the walls of the lobby..there's a sign that states that at Highland, you bring your garments in before 830 am, you can expect your items back that same day after 5:30pm. It's not hidden, and after the person intaking your order informs you of any risks or need to knows about items coming in; they confirm this policy for you before they ever press their confirm button. When you return that evening for pickup, again; smiling and pleasant faces. Only now, these are new, fresh people not from that morning and still just as happy and pleasant. Once you give them the claim slip, its 3 minutes for your cleaned, starched (or not, they let you decide when you drop off) pressed to perfection items to be brought up to you. Then they are scanned out, card for payment processed, and youre back in the car on the way home. Some locations even have drive through. Some areas even receive their delivery services for free. I challenge you to find a better cleaners in Louisville. Furthermore, in this region of the country. So if you're like their billboards , you'd say yoyre "best pressed" or others say, "best dressed." Tomāto..tomáto...whichever way would not be wrong in this case!
