“My husband and I have stayed at quite a few bed-and-breakfasts over the years, and Louisville Bourbon Inn is by far the best.

The service was truly exceptional. Allen was an incredible host, and Chris was just as delightful. We were in the middle of a stressful move and Allen went out of his way to ensure our stay was peaceful, seamless, and completely worry-free. That level of thoughtfulness made all the difference.

Thank you for the extended hospitality and for being so genuinely gracious. We will absolutely be back and truly cannot wait to enjoy more of Allen’s amazing breakfasts.”

“This place is a real gem. We have stayed at the Inn at Woodhaven numerous times over the years, and we always love it. Aside from the beautiful rooms and the great location, the breakfast is amazing.”

“just left my third stay at this hotel. it’s simply the best. yes - the rooms are small! this is not somewhere you’d want to stay for extended time but for a long weekend it’s perfect. the staff is incredibly nice. the bar in the lobby is a VIBE. everything is walkable. the food available at the hotel is fast, fresh and affordable. I live in indy and a lot of concerts and comedians who skip us ending up in LOU and so thankful to have found this incredible hotel to stay at when that happens. for parking i recommend the wharf parking garage on witherspoon. it’s less than a 2 block walk and $25 a night.”

“We stayed here last week and were greeted by Arthur, valet, who bent over backwards and then checked in with Anya who was awesome. The room was very nice and clean. The art museum is a definite plus, really interesting pieces.”

“This hotel was a step above awesome. The service is wonderful. The rooms are very nice andet me just say the bedding in this hotel is so comfortable. The only thing that I would want to change is the free continental breakfast they have during the week, I wish they had it during the weeknd too.”

“Jeff and Alicia with valet are phenomenal! The hotel is beautiful, the only thing preventing the last star for me is that I travel with a service dog and there is no grass area right here for me to take him. Comes with the downtown area for the most part, lots of interesting shops and good food.Walkability: Everything seems to be in a good waking distance.Food & drinks: Lots of food and drink options in walking distance.”

“Very nice and clean hotel. Friendly staffs. The location also perfect, lot of bussines places and the malls close to the hotel we booked a room with kitchen, complete with the cooking equipment. One thing, the shampoo and soap bottles containers are away too high, my kids couldn't reach them in the shower. It wasn't a big deal though. We were enjoyed stay in this hotel. ?”

“The Brown, is, like others say, an incredible throwback in time. In its day, The Brown must have been completely spectacular, and many parts still are. The lobby is phenomenal. When you sit there you are almost transported to 1943- where the room would be buzzing with music, soldiers, smoke, drinks, and well dressed ladies. The hotel staff is great all around- very polite and accommodating. Elevators are good. Ballroom is nostalgic elegance- but needs some TLC. The location is decent, but not great, as it’s not near that much. The rooms *can* be an issue. Our first room had many defects- broken trim, large carpet stains, pealing wall paper, dirty doors, and worst of all, a very strong musty odor. The staff quickly moved us to a new room, and they made sure it wasn’t musty first. They also comped breakfast (after I asked). Thats all great, but the first room should have been checked and never booked to a customer in the first place. One strange thing- we have never seen toilets that are so low to the ground. What’s with that?? The food is decent; not the best, but seemingly good for the area. I am not a huge fan of the Hot Brown, but I guess others like it. On to the gym- it’s basic, and more of an afterthought. The gym is located on the 4th floor. That floor is really too beat up to show to customers. There is a rooftop deck on the 16th floor, which is nice, and most people don’t seem to know about. If you like nostalgia, period decor, and 1920’s architecture, you will love The Brown. My advice would be to inspect your room ASAP and change it if anything is wrong. In my personal opinion, the overall hotel needs some TLC. However, it is clearly not an easy property to maintain given how intricate and old it is. Hopefully The Brown will last, with some upgrades, for years to come. There are too few places like it anymore.”

“We stayed here while visiting distilleries in Louisville! We were very impressed. The rooms were super clean, service was exceptional and the “old fashion hour” each evening was an added bonus! If we are ever back up in the Louisville area we will be sure to stay here again!”

“My wife and I stayed here last weekend to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and we could not have been MORE HAPPY with our decision!!!
Such an amazing and beautiful old home that has so much character and charm!!! We had never stayed at a BNB before this. It was something that my wife was always a bit unsure of and was even unsure when I booked this one...until we got there! :) She LOVED it!!!
Again, the home is beautiful, and the owners (Devona and Steve) are simply AMAZING and just great people!!! I believe we enjoyed speaking with them and spending time with them as much as we did the stay!!
Also, words cannot describe the breakfast!!!!! Sooooo good!!! You will not be disappointed and come hungry!!!
If you are looking for a great, quaint, beautiful home to spend a couple of days, this is the perfect place!!!
HUGE thank you Devona and Steve for welcoming us into your beautiful home with literally open arms! You made our stay, and more importantly, our anniversary, a very special one and one we will not forget anytime soon! We cannot wait to come back and we will take you up on that offer to sit on the patio and enjoy a good bourbon and great conversations! Thank you again!!”

“We had a great stay. The room was nice and spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of pillows, which I loved. The only issue we had was the toilet didnt want to flush right but we alerted staff so it could be fixed.”

“My best friend and I went to a Louisville Kentucky for the underground lights. It was absolutely amazing. We brought our two dogs with us. The woman that checked us in was absolutely amazing. We really wanted it to queen size beds, but I was told there wasn’t any she found three that was available. The next day I was down by the desk and there was a gentleman working and he was not pleasant. He wasn’t rude, but he just didn’t have that welcoming hello how are things going? Are you enjoying your stay type attitude? I don’t know if he’s new or or if he’s shy and he still needs to come out of his Shell.”

“The rooms were extremely spacious, and recently remodeled, with several amenities. Breakfast was great, and the pancake machine worked just fine every morning. It is right by the airport, so bring ear plugs. The king bed was a little hard, and only had three pillows rather than four. They should add a sign on how to operate the automatic blinds, because we never could figure it out. Parking was odd, since there are only a few close spots, and then a giant lot that appears to be shared amongst several hotels. We did, however, have to report an electrical issue with room 419, as there was a burn mark on the switch, my phone shocked my when it was charging (never happened before), and a power back charged in about twenty minutes when it normally take a couple of hours. They said they would have it inspected.”

“Nestled in the heart of downtown everything about the Omni has been great. We didn't get a chance to eat at Bob's Chop and Steakhouse located onsite, however, the staff was friendly, the rooms are luxurious and the amenities are awesome. Would definitely stay here again.”

“I had an excellent experience at this hotel, largely thanks to Jaylen. From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made my family and I felt truly welcome. He went above and beyond on answering my questions and most of all, I did not feel like I was bothering him to his job! It’s rare to encounter service this thoughtful and consistent. Jaylen, is a real asset to your hotel, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again because of him! Highly recommend!”

“Their breakfast was absolutely wonderful with many many options from oatmeal, fried eggs, crispy bacon, sausage cheese, yogurt, cereals. The swimming pool was nice. The weight and workout room was good sized and they had an open common area with board games, fooze ball table, and pool table. Thank you for the stay!!!”

“Not bad, but not spectacular. Desk agents were efficient, not friendly or welcoming. They had a pitiful Christmas tree. Now that I think about it, the reason the desk agents stared so intently with out speaking/smiling every time I walked in, wasn't the massive buger I had smeared across my face unknowingly. They were traumatized by the sparsely decorated and lighted Christmas tree. They were subliminally alerting me that The Grinch was real and had not only taken the ornaments and lights, he was taking their warm Christmas joy night after night.”

“My stay was awesome, the room was great and the bed was very comfortable... The front desk staff particular Larry was very helpful and nice...Rooms: The room was a king room and really nice for the size..”

“I walked in and looked around and liked it right away. My family and I went to get away and to go swimming! We enjoyed every moment. The hot tub was nice and warm. We will definitely be going back”

“This is another place that I myself did not stay at this hotel but I did visit here for a few hours. This is where my oldest son and his family stayed at when they came in town for Christmas. Their room was a fairly decent size and there was some nice extras like a session where you could get free drinks with a special ticket for being a guest and a free breakfast and not quite a continental one at that. It is a very beautiful hotel especially the lobby with the waterfall that I took some video footage that I will post along with my review. I gave a 3 star rating on the location only because of it being in downtown Louisville. This however, is located at 4th Street Live which means it is in a more watched and patroled area of downtown Louisville so, it's not so bad. Overall, it does deserve the really good rating that I gave it.”

“Our stay at Cambria Hotel Louisville was outstanding! The location, service, and accommodations were top-notch. Special thanks to Joseph Hess at the front desk for his exceptional assistance in tracking down and shipping a lost item back to us promptly. The hotel's blend of historic charm and modern luxury made our Kentucky Derby experience unforgettable. We'll definitely be back!”

“This is now my FAVORITE hotel! It was clean! It smelled good! It was in a good location that allowed for easy travel to nearby attractions. The staff were great! I was even able to catch the horses running next door!”

“Stay here often for work travels. The lady at the service desk is the best! She remembers each time that I prefer ground floor and always ensures I’m on the ground level. Nice smaller hotel in a great location.”

“Excellent! Staff were amazing and friendly. The room was perfect for our stay including everything needed to make dinner and chill with movies after a long day traveling and visiting local distilleries. We would stay here again the next time we are in the area or even needing to stop while driving through.”

“For those leaving complaints understand that most of your negative feedback does not help others especially when amazing like a victim.
Room : was clean felt comfortable had a fridge. electric stove and dishwasher with plates. Yes some dishes maybe dirty it happens when people fail to wash their own plates and instead leave them in the dishwasher. Dishwashers dont scrub its pretty logic.
Service: staff are friendly. For those complaining about cameras and room privacy etc. Cameras can only be accessible to the GM and Owner only. Unless you file a police report they would allow the officer to conduct his investigation. So please stop harassing the staff. Privacy, while they do have a DND ( do not disturb] signs available for you to place thats there for a reason. If you dont have the sign up dont complain about them changing your towels and tidying up your mess in the room. Its bad enough the Housekeepers have their own children to clean up too but complaining about them cleaning is pretty far fetched. Your a guest. You dont own the room maintenance, techs, Housekeeper and staff have a right to conduct their job if need be and thats accessing your room with or without written notice. They will make themselves announce themselves before entering of course. Please stop harassing people with threats victimizing yourself in the process they are people too. You all complained about the staff being rude what you expect when you show up with the entitlement attitude.

Location: its close to the airport but the smell of industrial factories is the only drawback. Lost my full sense of smell years ago but im still able to tell that theres a smell coming from outside”

“I will start off by saying that this hotel is owned and operated by The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, which makes sense as it is on the campus. The hotel does not have the same amenities as a Hilton or a Marriott, but the rooms are clean.”

4.3 Superb35 Reviews

“Rooms are not like they say on the websites even on booking or choice. Small out dated lighting is awful. This is a stay but the rules are of those luxury hotels. The price is ridiculously high for no good reason other than the fact Ford is right here. They have false advertising about price and quality of rooms”
