“Unmatched 7-Night Stay – The Absolute Best in Louisville!
We stay in many hotels, but our 7-night stay at the Aloft Downtown Louisville was next to none. I couldn’t have said anything bad even if I wanted to. From check-in to check-out and everything in between, the experience was absolutely flawless.
The hotel was incredibly clean, and the service was unmatched. As a major bonus, they are completely pet-friendly, and they serve the absolute best coffee to kickstart your day! Every single department blew us away. The bar staff, the restaurant team, and the cleaning crew were all amazing, friendly, and attentive.
I wouldn't do this incredible staff justice if I didn't mention some of them by name. Huge, heartfelt thanks to Ryan, Bevin, Charon, Kati, and Oliver for making our week so special!
Whether you are traveling to Louisville with your furry friend, staying for a vacation, or just driving through, I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back!”

“Beautiful hotel. Nice, clean room. The lobby is very small. Good location, walked to the Louisville Slugger Museum and the Old Forester distillery is very close to the hotel as well. We self parked in the structure across the street.”

The food in the Swann is amazing and the staff Mark and Jordan are delightful with their graciousness and gift of serving elevated food while literally “story telling” the history and provenance of the building the Grady is housed in.

“My wife and I stayed here last weekend to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and we could not have been MORE HAPPY with our decision!!!
Such an amazing and beautiful old home that has so much character and charm!!! We had never stayed at a BNB before this. It was something that my wife was always a bit unsure of and was even unsure when I booked this one...until we got there! :) She LOVED it!!!
Again, the home is beautiful, and the owners (Devona and Steve) are simply AMAZING and just great people!!! I believe we enjoyed speaking with them and spending time with them as much as we did the stay!!
Also, words cannot describe the breakfast!!!!! Sooooo good!!! You will not be disappointed and come hungry!!!

“Jeff and Alicia with valet are phenomenal! The hotel is beautiful, the only thing preventing the last star for me is that I travel with a service dog and there is no grass area right here for me to take him. Comes with the downtown area for the most part, lots of interesting shops and good food.Walkability: Everything seems to be in a good waking distance.Food & drinks: Lots of food and drink options in walking distance.”
“I'm a Platinum Lifetime Marriott Bonvoy member - I stay in a lot of Marriott hotels and really like the Residence Inn brand.
The Residence Inn Louisville Oxmoor location is the NICEST Residence Inn I have ever stayed in. The hotel is modern and very clean. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming.
The breakfast was the highlight of the stay - I had REAL scrambled eggs (not powdered eggs) and a delicious blueberry scone.
The hotel is in a great location. Despite being near an interstate, I did not hear any traffic. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
If you have an opportunity to stay here - do it!”

“It was fantastic other then the toilet was clogged from the start of our stay but we weren't there much to use it anyway and the shower head was kinda odd. Also it smelled like someone was cooking something strange up there but the staff was lovely and the room was nice and pretty clean. 8.5 out of 10 overall”

“Very very clean and well kept hotel. As soon as we walked in I could SMELL how clean it was in there. No trash or dust in any of the public spaces. Room was very clean. They were very helpful when I had questions about checking in after midnight. Pretty good food, and a good selection, my picky eater kids each found things they both liked. Would definitely stay here again.”

“On-site parking was very minimal but worth it if you manage to snag a spot. If so do not move your car because you will probably not get another one. Tv broke and took forever for it to reset after maintenance replaced it. No breakfast available in the hotel but available for purchase onsite”
“I came to Louisville with no reservations and I'm so glad I found Candlewood suites. I stayed two nights and felt right at home. I've never stayed in a hotel with suites before, bit now I'm hooked. I didn't have to worry about finding a good restaurant because I could just stop by the grocery store and pick up a frozen pizza for dinner. I loved the layout of the room with a bed, long desk/table area, kitchen, and bathroom. There was plenty of drawers and closet space if I wanted to unpack.
They do not have ovens in the room, bit there is an equipment rental where I picked up a toaster oven to make my pizza. They even have a gym to workout in and a patio outside to have quiet time. My favorite part of free to use laundry area! I brought my own soap from home thinking I would have to find a Laundromat, but I could use theirs for free (just being soap). If I come back again, I would for sure stay here.”
“Great stay at this convenient hotel. Snacks 24 hours, come and go parking lot, nice bathroom and bed. Forgot phone on way out and Jessica at front desk saw it and brought it to me in parking lot.”
“Room were super clean and everything in hotel was kept stocked and clean. Staff were amazing and friendly. Some didnt speak English but quickly pulled up Google translator to be able to answer any questions we had or recommendation we requested, which my kids thought was so cool. Very family friendly environment. The pool and hot tub were kept clean and tidy and the coffee in the lobby stayed stocked up and ready to serve 24/7. Breakfast was amazing each morning and my kids love having the choice between all the options they served and kept stocked. I can not thank the staff enough for such amazing customer service and an amazing place to stay.”

“I will start off by saying that this hotel is owned and operated by The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, which makes sense as it is on the campus. The hotel does not have the same amenities as a Hilton or a Marriott, but the rooms are clean.”
“Rooms were very nice but slightly lived in. We also had a bulb burn out and our TV was not working however the issue was fixed immediately! The staff was great. The amenities were wonderful. The location was perfect! Great stay!”
“Needed to be in Louisville unexpectedly for a family emergency for an extended stay. The Hawthorn Suites is a real value champion based on price, basic amenities, central to everything, cleanliness and friendly staff. Free breakfast was very good every morning (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, waffles, toast and hot and cold drinks. All hot, well prepared and quick. Nice, clean indoor pool as well. Also the price was very fair.”

“I stayed one night while in the area on business. The lady at the front desk (sorry, can’t remember her name) is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. The hotel feels pretty new. The room was clean. The ac was nice and cold. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was very good. I’m always a fan of the omelets, and who doesn’t like bacon. No complaints here”

“This is a fantastic downtown hotel. They have large rooms and tons of ammeties. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfy as well. There is a bit of late-night noise with 4th street live being so close. The parking situation isnt the best, so we ended up just paying the $45 per night for valet.”

“I stayed here in March for a wedding. I had a great time in terms of my room and the service. My only problem is that, unbeknownst to me, the fridge did not work properly, and I stored my leftovers in there. The next day, I heated and ate my leftovers and got food poisoning at the wedding before dinner was even served. Please make sure your appliances work so you don't poison your guests. I was sick for a week and was in the bathroom the rest of the wedding.”

“The inn is located in a beautiful historic neighborhood just south of downtown. We did an architectural tour of it while we were there and it was beautiful & interesting. The inn itself is warm, welcoming and spotless! Allen is an amazing host and chef - the full breakfasts are delicious (and filling!).”
