About Iroquois Park
Iroquois Park is a scenic and popular spot in the city, offering great hiking and beautiful skyline views from the overlook, accessible via a steep hike or stairs. The park features a fully equipped playground with swing sets and splash pads, making it fun for children. It is dog-friendly, allowing visitors to bring their pets. The park also has a top-notch disk golf course, considered the best in Louisville. Visitors enjoy walking, picnicking, and relaxing at the amphitheatre, which is well-built and often hosts events. Parking is ample, though the restrooms can sometimes be limited or closed, especially near the amphitheatre. Many appreciate the park’s tree cover and peaceful atmosphere. Some concerns include the need for more bathrooms and winter amenities like heaters. Overall, Iroquois Park is a wonderful, versatile, and underrated outdoor space perfect for outdoor activities and enjoying nature.
