Kemba is great, I’ve been banking with them since I was a child. The tellers are awesome, Ms. Joy is a gem. Lucy on the other hand is very rude, she constantly makes smart remarks and is not very personable. Do trust Kemba with your finances, but try your best to never deal with Lucy :)

I've been a KEMBA Louisville CU member for more years than I care to count. The teller staff is always helpful and professional. I've also had several loans and it's always been more than competitive rate wise. I also use and recommend the KEMBA Louisville app for online banking. My only complaint is I wish there were more locations!

Excellent customer service! Very friendly employees make you feel valued as a customer. They are there to assist their customers with any financial need. I highly recommend Kemba Louisville Credit Union. My family has been banking with them for many, many years. We have been completely satisfied with Kemba Louisville Credit Union.

All I need to see to know this is a cruddy business/financial institution is the review from TW 4 months ago...and even more so that Kemba did not respond on here to TW's very valid complaints. Says it all. They literally go against every tenant of their reason for existing...to serve their customers! It sounds like they go out of their way, via those moronic policies, to inconvenience their customers. But nowdays, probably too busy focusing on covid policies and diversity/inclusion/gender measures...instead of oh, you know, banking services and stuff.

Been banking with them for thirty years (since I was a teenager)....staff have always been cordial and helpful. However, since the website was changed up over a year ago the online banking aspect has been a mess. It's basically a dice roll as to whether the server will be down anytime you try and log on.

When I first started out with Kemba over 20 years ago, they were great. They were responsive, available, willing to work with members, and I could go to them for all my financial needs -including buying a car.Fast forward to today, and they are just awful. My biggest complaint is their lack of responsiveness. You literally cannot get ANYONE to answer a phone there. And sometimes, you can't even leave a message. You'll get a loud "tornado-warning" busy signal, and then the line disconnects. If that's not terrible enough, just try using them to finance an auto purchase.In this environment, ALL dealerships are charging a premium on used-car prices, so they're often above "blue book" - ESPECIALLY if it's a good car with low miles. But Kemba insists on using the NADA used-vehicle pricing guidelines, which is usually at least $2K below CarFax and Kelly Blue Book values, so that makes it almost impossible to get them to approve a deal, because the car is almost ALWAYS "overpriced". The second problem with Kemba -for which there is NO excuse, Is that if you DO somehow miraculously find a car they MIGHT be willing to finance, you have to submit the deal sheet by email, AND, it may be hours or the next day, IF THEN, that you'll get a response. EVEN IF YOU'RE PREAPPROVED!!!Think about that! You're in the sales office at a dealership, you've come to terms, and can't get an approval from Kemba for hours, or until the next day. How can you buy a decent car under those conditions??? Answer: You can't! In this market, good, low-mileage used cars sell in HOURS, not days or weeks. Not only did Kemba refuse to approve several deals, but I had more than one vehicle sold from under me, while waiting for them to respond...If they responded at all! And did I mention that Kemba had already PREAPPROVED me for financing?Again, there is just no excuse for the way they' "do business" these days! They are just not a serious financial institution, and worse, they just don't seem to care!

Apparently the times they have on Google are not the correct times because every time I call I can never get anyone to answer the phone. I have to call multiple times before I can get someone on the phone.

I got my first car loan and got a nice 2010 Nissan Altima. I'll have my car paid off in 2 and a half years only 50$ a week. Thank you kemba for being the only bank that had faith in me!
