Go to Goss Ave. or go to McMahan Plaza if you are looking for a certain item. You won't find it at the Highlands store. It's constantly unstocked, bathroom DISGUSTING, stinks to high heaven, long lines, no cashiers, etc. The only reason I ever go here is because I use the pharmacy. The pharmacy staff are pretty friendly, other than that this store is dirty, produce half nasty, just yuck. Do yourself a favor and drive a free more minutes to the McMahan Plaza store. Much cleaner, better stocked, good produce.

Anytime I call it's at least 5 minutes before anyone answers. (I'm writing this as I'm waiting for someone to pick up. I'm at 8 minutes now) 9/10 times they just pick up the phone so it stops ringing only to put me on hold again. Whenever I do get through it seems like they are mad at me for having the nerve to call. I dont know what is so hard about this job... read, count, repeat.Update 9/16/21This location has been doing a lot better than they have in the past. Their service is a lot closer to what i would expect from a kroger pharmacy now.

Both the pharmacy and store are not worth shopping. Do not waste your time unless you are interested in the clown show.

Most the time there will be a long line. Never will there be more than one register open. Every facial expression and verbal interaction will convey how much they do not want you there.

Extremely rude. If someone can’t speak with kindness they shouldn’t be in customer service. I only said 4 words, I have a prescription and gave them my birthdate and this is how I was treated. It wasn’t ready which is fine but she talked to me like I was garbage and was extremely rude about it. Makes me want to never come back.

I have honestly never been treated more rudely or unprofessionally that at this pharmacy today. My experience was so poor that I am seriously going to reconsider ever stepping foot in Kroger ever again. Please stay away from this pharmacy and if Kroger supports this type of treatment of its customers, then stay away from all Kroger stores.

Habitually telling me to come at a certain time and date for my medication, only to tell me to come back at a specific time and date the next day, only to tell me they can only fill a third of my prescription but it will be another three hours.

Seriously get your prescriptions elsewhere unless you like long lines and rude underpaid staff . People get hostile from standing in the long line and then are greeted with " what do you want " well let's see I'm in line at a pharmacy, can I get a mani and pedi . Seriously. I know it's hard to find any help let alone good help.

Kroger Pharmacy in the Highlands was in the past a good pharmacy. many things have changed in the last 3 years. The pharmacy is chronically short staffed. You can depend on a long line. Today, the pharmacy closed at 2 pm for drive through, and 3pm in store. This was with no notice to customers. I arrived at 3 pm ; the employees were pulling the doors closed. I have an upper respiratory infection, and 3 medications were called in by my provider to Kroger Pharmacy. Another customer, and I were told nothing could be done. " Call your doctor." The employees could not have cared less. We requested a manager, spoke to two different manages. They stated that Kroger corporate had informed them to closed with only 2 hours notice. Then I was told to go to the Kroger on Poplar Level, they should be able to help. Upon arrival at the other Kroger, the drive through employee stated" we can not help you. The prescriptions are" in process " we can't help you. Mind you, I am sick! I am an RN. Worst pt. care I have seen in my life. Passing the buck, and total disregard to the pt.

Order pick up is a chaotic mess. They obviously don’t serve customers in order of arrival and they don’t alert customers of orders not yet ready until well past the delivery window. I would not recommend this Kroger to my worst enemy

It appears staffing issues are impacting service. Long waits are the norm and getting prescriptions filled takes longer than expected at times. Prescriptions are accurately filled and prices are competitive with other pharmacies. Parking is easy and of course you can combine trips if you need groceries!

I’ve gone to this pharmacy for years and they have always been good, though the lines can be long, but I understand they’re short staffed. However, I really hope they change their weekends hours back to being open later as I have to work on weekends because I have bills to pay and I can’t get off work in time to pick up my prescriptions now. Now I have to pick them up days late which effects my health because I need these prescriptions and taking them days late is not an option for me. I don’t understand why they all the sudden changed their hours for weekends only because that was the only time I could really pick up my needed prescriptions. I don’t want to be rude or be a Karen but some of us were really relying on those open later hours for weekends.

I've been getting prescription from this Pharmacy for the last 8 years... Today has made up my mind this place needs an over haul... Two days they we're supposed to be filling my father's heart medication. This is a serious problem... I was told to come back tomorrow it was ordered. I showed up today at 1pm because I have to work it wasn't filled. I made it back up here at 8:55pm and was turned away. I'm disappointed in the lack of attention... I understand you want to go home... I didn't want to make 3 trips here for this prescription. If this would have been filled correctly the first time I wouldn't have had this problem. Now, my elderly father has to go another day without his medication. Who's fault is this? Mine... because I've been here 3 times to pick up this prescription? I hope you show more compassion for your loved ones then you have mine. Your a sorry bunch...

I have been going to this pharmacy for a year. The lines and wait times can be long, but everyone I work with is always kind. I imagine this location gets a lot of business. To be honest, the wait is not what bothers me. People’s attitudes and self-centeredness that emerges while waiting in line is what bothers me.
