There is a hidden gem at this Kroger.... And it's their Liquor Store. The store houses an OUTSTANDING selection of tequila and one of the best selections in the city. Their store manager, Greg knows high level information about high quality tequila. He has an incredible selection of additive free tequila ( of course 100% agave). It's worth a visit to meet him and to check out the selection.

Bought some food that is expired by 9 months. Realized this and thought that I would pop down to a different Kroger that is only a few blocks from my house. Well..... you can't return to another Kroger even if you have the receipt. Called corporate and they said that is their policy. I guess that it's worth driving a little bit to shop at Wal-Mart since they are WAAAAYYY cheaper than Kroger. Oh... hey Kroger. Just a suggestion. Hire some employees that can run a checkout line.

This is the worst Kroger I've ever been to In the City of Louisville it used to be known as the dirty Kroger and I think that name still applies first of all, they have jacked their prices up on everything to insane amounts where buying a bag of chips and a thing of dip is a $15 endeavor. The employees are very unhelpful to the point of being rude and outright mean. They rarely have anything in stock and this place just continues to become worse and worse

One of the nicest Krogers in town. The food layout is slightly different than what I'm used to but things aren't difficult to find.

Thanks for getting back! The fact I had to call them as they are desperate for people but collecting a data inquiry on possible employees even payment or are required to you'll never get get full time employment and Aldi's is paying 3-4$ more an hour

Well, I entered feeling great and left feeling good and frustrated. Have the Kroger card and was shopping on a budget to get the cheaper options. What they don't tell you is the price advertised is not the price they charge. Great bait and switch. You not only need the card but you also need to stare are your phone to download and app, find the thing you want, and then have it freeze on you trying to pull up the coupon. Doesn't work? Oh well. Pay the full price then. Image is of the peppers I attempted to get. Bet you can easily tell they are $1.50 right? Yeah... Me either. Go to Walmart. Pay the price they tell you it is, and spend less time staring at your phone in the middle of the aisle. Would not recommend. Would not do again.

The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the cashier's are good every thing else about this store is ridiculous. It's over priced understock understaffed and the customer service desk is never open.

People, Kroger is cutting jobs! Self checkout is a way for them to stop employing cashiers. We're losing jobs at a time when we need them. SKIP THE SELF CHECKOUT AND USE A CASHIER!

Once again, this Kroger provides a manager that fails at everything that they do. Customer service at this location is horrible. The manager is horrible. The manager is so incredibly unprofessional that they won’t even come and talk to a customer they want to relay through the customer service desk. I cannot wait for Publix to get here, bye-bye Kroger!

If it wasn't the only grocery store on this side of town, it should be closed. Customer service is just an empty counter on a 24/7 bases. You call ahead to check hours and they lie to you so when you get there they get to say "oh sorry, we're closed". Iv needed to cash a pay check for two days but everytime I go there they wana be lazy and stand next to a podium and give me the same bull.

The pharmacy gang is amazing. Thanks to those guys, this Kroger is tolerable. They are the best. I can't sing their praise high enough.

I used to shop here all the time, and to be honest the store itself is good—if occasionally short on the odd item. The reason for this review is the store’s inaction when it comes to purse-snatching that occurs frequently (twice in the last week) at their gas station. There’s much more they could do to prevent the east entry and getaway that the perpetrators make use of. They should also be posting some sort of warnings and—at the very least—checking in with the victims and helping in any way they can. Following up with the police and keeping pressure on them to solve these crimes—and keeping victims informed of these steps—is the minimum they could do to show some corporate responsibility.Purse-snatching is also happening at the St Matthews Kroger. Hopefully that hasn’t been met with the same level of inaction.

The stock has gotten better recently, which is good news for me as an instacart shopper. I used to avoid this store, but lately haven’t had to.Today though, they were very rude to me. I went to self checkout because I have had issues at ALL Krogers when I go through checkout lanes with triple orders from instacart. I inevitably have to rebag items and double check that the orders have NOT gotten mixed up in the checkout process once I am loading my car. I prefer to do each order how I have them organized so I can make 100% sure that I am getting everything separately for each customer. They approached me when I entered the self-checkout today and said that it was a 20 item limit. I saw the sign that said this, but explained that each separate order was under 20 each and that I was quick and preferred to bag myself for the reason I mentioned above. She then called management over where I explained the same thing.I feel like I should also mentioned that this is mid-afternoon on a weekday. The store is not terribly busy and I never held up a line of any sorts. Had there been a ton of people waiting, I would’ve taken my chances elsewhere checking out, but there were not.Frustrating that they felt the need to say anything at all. I used to work at Kroger and did so for a couple years in St. Matthews. I understand the reasoning, but when each order is under 20 items and the items HAVE to stay separated, it makes more sense for me to do it in a way that I know I will not mess anything up.

Spectrum internet people HASSLING upon entry to the store. Unbelievable! They would not leave me or my mother alone on the way in AND out. This should not be happening when all I want to do is grab some milk. Very pushy, and will not take no for an answer. Kroger - get your ^%# together and BAN SOLICITATION!

This kroger has a nickname given to it by the locals. “Dirty Kroger.”As someone who has lived next to this kroger for two years now, the name is very fitting. The aisles are always trashed, and 90% of the produce is rotted or split open. There has been no improvements here for years, someone needs to take action to make this kroger worth spending money at.
