Return policy is a joke. If you don’t have a receipt, item(s) are effectively un-returnable. There’s no question the item came from Lowe’s as it’s promoted all over the website as a “Lowe’s exclusive!”
They will lose much much more revenue from me than they would have by allowing a relatively low dollar return.

I have been to this store twice and called numerous times in an attempt to purchase a $1,600 gym set for my grandchildren. Was told the same thing both times I was there - "We will need to send you an email scheduling a call to confirm the item will fit your space. Do not purchase the item until this is confirmed." First call to my son-in-law, the caller didn't even know what item I was purchasing so hung up. I went back to the store and had the same conversation with the same customer service rep so we scheduled another call. The caller this morning indicated to my son-in-law that I had to purchase the gym set before they would talk to him. This is not what customer service desk employee (Colin) told me either time. I have attempted three times to reach the store manager "Orissa" (sp?). Once was told she would call me back. Waited a week and never heard from her. Asked for her again yesterday when I was at the store and was told she's on a company call. Called again this morning and sat on hold for 15 minutes waiting for her pick up the line. You can't even reach the store manager! I'M GOING TO HOME DEPOT!
I wouldn't even give this store one star but you can't write a review without it.

Paid to have someone come by and measure for a new cooktop installation. Guy measured said we would get measurements in a couple days. Never got them, nor did we get a call from the store.

If I could rate this lower, I would! Bought a fridge, was promised delivery the next day. Unpacked the entire fridge, kept calling all day and was told it would be delivered. At 8:35pm received a call that it couldn’t be delivered until the following Monday!!! It’s Friday. All of our food will be ruined. This company collected $3K from a customer, said the product would be delivered the next day (otherwise we would have gone somewhere else bc our fridge was shot), we waited, and no product was delivered! 3-10 days for a refund. This is fraudulent. Any small business would go under if they under delivered like this. Peace out Lowes! You will never gain another dollar of my money. Home Depot from now on!

I’ve been trying to get the flooring department to replace some faulty flooring. I’ve spent all day trying to return a call to the flooring manager and no one answers the phone at that store!!!

Ask three male associates for assistance, 2 of them wouldn't even look at me and third dismissed me during mid conversation to help a gentleman in a 3pc suit. My business will be going to a place where their employees don't discriminate .

Lowes is currently at our condos and instead of parking their truck, they left it in the middle of the road, blocking all of us from leaving to pick up our kids from school. In the other street, they decided to assemble a washer machine right in the middle of the road. When we ask them to move the truck and go park it, they mock us. This company is horrible and so are their employees. We are calling the police so we can get our vehicles out.

Special ordered interior prehung door
It was terrible- top plate was nailed 1/4 in off , screws in hinge were stripped out, one side board was 1/4 in longer than other.
I have ordered before with good results, but quality on this door was poor, I would have taken back , but didn’t have time

To whom it may concern,
Recently your company changed the return policy. This policy of now requiring a reciept and not taking back is terrible especially for contractors like myself that spend a great deal at your stores at the beginning of a project.
For example, I have spent the summer putting up an out building. I purchased all the electrical and plumbing at the beginning of the project. A lot of times I misplace the reciepts or it takes a project longer than 90 days. So now I have a bunch of electrical and plumbing supplies I am not going to use. NOW, your store will not take back even though it brand new and still in packages.
In the past before this rediculous policy was in place, I would be store credit. I would then turn around and spend that store vredit in your store anyways.
If you google "Change to Lowes return policy", you will find numerous forums with comments how this has setup people that spend a great deal in your stores. Many comments have been made about moving thier business to Home Depot.
I habe always been a loyal Lowes customer. If I am going to be forced to keep things that I can not return because of this new policy I am afraid that I will also be forced to take my business else where with many others.
At a minimum, changing the more than 90 policy should be changed if someone has proof of purchase.

Not necessarily with this store but, their delivery department. However, made the purchase at this location.
The employee in the appliance dept was helpful. But, went downhill from there.
Ordered a new LG washtower to replace a defective one because my home warranty company partners with them. Setup delivery for today with a window from 12-4. Get notice around 245 that they’re on the way. When they arrive, they ask me to inspect the new unit. I see a photo on his phone that was from earlier that morning and I was wondering why. Turns out, the unit they had on the truck was heavily damaged and they knew that from this morning. The delivery coordinator tried to get me take it at a discount. I was livid. I wasted over half my day waiting for them when they knowingly had a damaged product on their truck. If I would’ve know that this morning, I would’ve declined it right away. I tell them to take it back.
Then a representative from Lowe’s calls me to tell me they didn’t have another unit in stock. So once again, they knowingly tried to get me to take a damaged product. Unacceptable. So now I have to wait until they get the unit back to inspect it (which is ridiculous because they already knew it was damaged), then go back to the store to get my money back, then have to order a completely different product and wait for it to be delivered and installed. And they only offered to give me a 5% discount for all of the inconveniences they caused. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.
I will never buy another appliance from them again due to the bad business practices that they follow regarding trying to con you into taking a damaged product because you’re in a pinch. The customer should be informed right away that their product was damaged and Lowe’s should offer them over the phone if they want a discount or not as they have the ability to text and email the photos from the start. Once again, bad business practice.
