The park is great... Unfortunately the owners of pets aren't.. if your pet rushes to every dog coming in the park.. especially pit bull mix. Maybe you should get some training for that dog .. or not take to public area

Visited when we were driving by Louisville recently. Great dog park. Amazing group of regulars who meet there at 10am every day. Nice rowdy but friendly dogs.

This Dog park is a must stop everytime we hit Bardstown road since we bring our Red wheeler everywhere. Thank you to the neighbors there who maintain the park & welcome everyone.

I came here after reading the reviews and was looking forward to letting my dogs have some fun off-leash time. I’m a travel healthcare worker so I was disappointed to see that most parks here are membership only. The park is small but has seating for the owners. There were 20+ bottle for water and every single one was empty. The water bowls were basically filled with mud. Strike 1. I let my dogs off leash and they went to play. There was a woman throwing a ball for her dog and when my dogs headed his way she screamed to keep my dogs back because her dog bites ?. What??? Why in the heck would you bring an aggressive dog that bites to an open park???? I grabbed my dogs in time but a poor doodle pup got this wrath and was immediately attacked. I started to leash my dogs and leave when the woman continued to play fetch with her dog instead of immediately exiting the park- Strike 2 and Strike 3.I guess it’s people like this that make it necessary to have private dog parks. I left a immediately I’ll never go back.

Love this place. The dogs are leashed and not aggressive at all. Plenty of room to run and play

Yikes - tiny, muddy, much unpicked waste.

It's a very nice park but the lazy dog owners who can't keep control of their dogs make it unenjoyable.

I genuinely like this dog park. There are always people with their dogs. I HATE that the entire lot is basically dirt though. Your dog will likely come home needing a bath.Playground: There's a separate play area for kids where dogs aren't allowed.Dog-friendliness: Dog park, lol very dog friendly duh

Nice place to let the furbabies play. Plenty of chairs for parents to relax and just big enough for the pups to get in a good run without losing sight of them.

I love the shade the trees provide on hot days. Everyone is super friendly and that my dog had fun running around playing. ? I wish it had more grass. Seating was adequate, there were plenty of tables, and it was a laid back atmosphere. There are jugs of water, plenty of bowls, and poop bags are provided (if you forget yours at home). ?Dog-friendliness: The dogs were well behaved and friendly.

A great place in the middle of the Highlands for dogs to play and feel safe.

In town and googled free dog parks nearby and found Morton Ave Dog Park. It was great, everyone was nice and the dogs played well together. It is covered in mulch so it that isn't your thing go elsewhere. Thanks to the volunteers that take care of it!

My first time here. It could use some fresh mulch a good clean up. Over all it was a good time for my grand doggie. There were quite a few dogs and owners who were very friendly.
