Excellent care! I was in their hospital recently before being transferred to a rehab center, but also us their oncology department where I have found all of my doctors to be wonderful.

My Elderly mother has been hospitalized twice since March. After her being discharged from Franciscan Rehab with a terrible UTI. I ending up at Norton Hospital Brownsboro ER. They gave my incoherent mom excellent care with wonderful communication to me her caretaker. So, shout out to the wonderful care and customer service of the ER department and all the staff on the fifth floor. So glad to know this care still exists in KY.

Absolutely horrible wait, I came in for medical assistance for my child. One person was called back in the 3 hours we waited. Completely ridiculous and so unprofessional. Should've taken an extra 10 mins of driving and gone to Baptist.

They hung up on me twice and said to just call 911 if i'm really worried when I was asking what I should do after listing all my brother's symptoms. But they were probably just stressed. Still wish they took me serious tho.

Norton Brownsboro has been so good to my family and I. Whether it's the ER staff, the Radiology staff, the ICU and Med-Surg staff, or even the folks that serve food, check you in, and keep the hospital tidy, everyone is friendly. Going to the hospital is never a fun time, because being there means yourself or a loved one has a health issue going on. But the staff make the experience so much better. Also, there's a retail pharmacy on the first floor next to the gift shop. The prices for meds seem to be better than the local pharmacy. My family and I love that we can get our medications before discharge through their "Meds to Beds" program. Services myself or my family have had include, but aren't limited to:- outpatient MRI- admission for stroke - outpatient surgery (knees/orthopedic)

Arrived at 2:30pm after my mom fell and smacked her head on the concrete floor of my garage. Her entire forehead and eye were completely swelled, pain at the wrist and ankle and knee busted open and bleeding. Have been sitting for 5 1/2 hours and still haven't seen a doc. She did get CT scan, and X-rays, but a full waiting room of people waiting to be seen. They are now telling people it's over a 6 hour wait to be seen and telling people to go to another hospital. Wish we would have done that 5 hours ago. They did not treat my mother at all. I had to send my husband to Walgreens for those instant ice packs that you break open and triage her myself in the waiting room. There is no way I would ever tell anyone to come here for an emergency. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Worse experience ever. God forbid you are in the emergency situation. Kidney stones and severe pain took over 7 hours. 86 year old lady with illness had waited over 10+ hours. Unreal. Is this a caring hospital???? Don't think so!!! The worst!!!!!

I recently had emergency surgery in this hospital while visiting from New York. The facility is very modern and relatively new. The patient services and staff are very good and attentive to patient needs with a pleasant and servant attitude. I had a very good experience at this facility.

If you ever have to go to the Emergency Room at a hospital and wait a long time it is probably because they are short of staff. I spent 5 hours last Saturday waiting to be seen by a doctor because I injured my shoulder and needed an X-ray. I went to two Urgent Care Centers before the last one told me to just go to the Hospital because they did not have the facility to do X-rays. When I finally got into a room the nurses were super nice and one was even a Contract Nurse who travels. She was from Atlanta. When I asked her why she came to Louisville she explained that there is a shortage of staff here. So Norton is having to hire contractors to fill the gaps. I finally got to see Dr. Rochet, the ER Doctor. He gave me a thorough exam and took time to explain what the X-rays showed and gave me a sling to wear until I could see my Orthopedic Surgeon. Covid Protocals are still very much in place. Sure hope all this mess is over soon.
