Great service and insurance. I called them last week wanting to find out if I needed to get referral for them to cover a specialist for a foot injury. The lady I spoke to said they would not require one, but the dr might. This is a dr. I have seen before for a different injury. So I doubt I will need one, I have had their insurance for about 10 years and have not had any problems with them paying my bills or covering rxs.

They keep telling me they don't receive my paperwork. When I have filled everything out 7 or 8 times which is making me wait longer for a prosthetic leg. Which they had denied me the first time. And now it just keeps getting the run around and run around. I hope they never ever have to lose a lamb and have to wait as long as I have for the last 7 months. This place has been a joke since it came. Molina whatever you wanna call it. I just want my leg so I can get on with my life. I should not have to wait this long.

Every since Molina took over passport haven’t been the same since they don’t cover anything that’s important they denied my son for braces, how the hell you expect me to pay out of pocket almost 5000.00. I’m in need to find another insurance company. Because they’re not it.

If your doctor doesn't submit perfect paperwork they will deny your prescription and say it's because you don't have any of the diagnosis required for this medication even if they have records stating you do. Even if they literally pay for your treatment for that condition every single month. Then you have to file an appeal which takes months. Worst insurance I've ever had. They will let you die even if your medication is on their preferred list of medication

They are horrible!! I qualified for many gift cards and other items offered to Passport members through their "Extra Benefits," for going to the doctor, dentist, getting eye exams, getting a Covid Booster and more. I turned in all my information, and almost five months later, I have received nothing. Everytime I talk to a representative, they either lie, or incompetent, or blames the delay on another representative. I seriously believe that they should be investigated for fraud, especially concerning all the gift cards and other benefits Passport members are not receiving!

These are the rudest people ever. Fire them all and start over. I'm on hold with a lady right now who muffled tye phone so I couldn't get her name. Speaking to me as if she's annoyed that I called and interrupted her nap. If customer service isn't your thing quit and get another job. Don't be rude to providers and patients when they call

I have tried to call for serious inquiries about my coverage that is not really clear to me in the member handbook and they have put me on hold and hung up on me more than once. This is about my health and I feel like this insurance company does not take me seriously.

I have called Passport TWO times and after I get passed all the operator questions the phone just hangs up! How do I get help if I cannot talk to someone about my needs?! The only reason I gave Passport a 2 star rating is because they have paid for my medication I need in the past. Fix your phones!!

Been with passport for years and never had any issues until Molina took over/bought out the company. Your first point of contact when calling the 24hour nurse hotline is a PCC who asks a ton of unnecessary questions. After answering 5 minutes worth of questions they then tell you a nurse will can you back within 6 HOURS! When I was pregnant with my second child I utilized Passport as my secondary insurance. Long story short when the hospital billed Passport kept rejecting the claim due to a “lapse in coverage” which wasn’t true at all. They some how came up with a phony story about their system not being fully up to date due to the major transfer of accounts from one company system to another. I so wish I had switched to another Insurance provider back in November but sadly I’m stuck with them for another 10 months. I don’t not recommend at all.

Absolutely awful. Have talked to TONS of different people and no one can help. Insurance start was supposed to be dated for June but everytime I call they keep saying August. So half of my bills were not even covered. I wish I had not chosen them as a secondary insurance for pregnancy. I’m going to owe so much money on medical bills because they can’t get their stuff together. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Insurance through Passport before the buyout from Molina was pretty easy. They were the only nonprofit MCO for Kentucky, and were accepted many places.
