I can't believe this place is still in business. It's as horrible as people say. None of the animals there are well taken care of. The place stinks and there were flies everywhere. I had such a bad feeling being in there. It needs to be shut down by the health department.

This place is horrifying, it should be shut down for animal cruelty. I cannot understand how it has so many five star reviews unless it's a scam! It smelled like death in here, there were flies everywhere and the animals were all horribly crowded. There were 14 adult hamsters in one cage with nowhere to hide/burrow, and they were all desperately trying to escape, clawing at the glass. There were birds chewing at the cage bars and frantically chirping. The fish tanks were absolutely filthy and I am sure I saw a few dead fish in the 10 minutes I was in here. They are being reported to the health dept but I am not sure that will do anything. Please do not patronize this place - even the big chains like PetCo and Feeders Supply treat animals more humanely.

Do not go here. They don't take care of the animals they sell. It's very dirty. Flies everywhere. I wanted to support a local business, but I will never go back.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to this unique pet store. It has a different vibe than most pet stores, with lots of character and friendly staff. We especially liked the beautiful house cat that greeted us at the entrance. Great variety of fish and reptiles, which are their main specialties.

I have shopped here for years but was totally shocked to find the rats I just purchased were so poorly taken care of. The next day after purchase I noticed one wasn’t acting right. I took them to get one had pneumonia the other two had upper respiratory infections and all had parasites . My vet bill over 400 the first time. I took him to vet two more times within the month before he passed away. We fought so hard for his life. Do not purchase animals here. The owner is a nice guy and maybe he doesn’t know the situation, he seemed to care about animals at one time. What I tell you is true. These diseases the rats carry were totally preventable.

I feel so bad for the animals at this pet store. The store is smelly and way too hot to be keeping chinchillas in. They were keeping an older male (white) and young female (gray) chinchilla together in the a small cage and the male was biting the other chinchilla and pulling her fur out. You can see the bald spot in the picture. I wanted to rescue this chinchilla so bad but it most likely has health issues due to the poor conditions it’s kept in. They also did not have a water bottle, only a bowl, which is very bad for chinchillas because if they get their fur wet it can mold and kill them.

This place does not seem to know how to take care of animals, especially leopard geckos. My daughter and I went just to view snakes as that was to be our next pet. When we entered the store, the smell was immediately terrible. Leopard geckos were one of the first things we saw in a few enclosures. One poor gecko was missing its tail, had stuck shed, a wound on its head, and had an eye crusted shut with sand stuck in all its wounds. Not only was she in an enclosure with sand for substrate, but she also had crickets that were larger than her head. Crickets that large can bite and make wounds worse. Sand can also lead to obstruction. We have a leopard gecko at home that is treated very well so we are very familiar with leopard gecko care. My daughter and I end up deciding to bring the sweet gecko home. We ask the employee to get her for us and their response is "Are you sure you want her? She was attacked by the other geckos and we're pretty sure there's something wrong with her stomach and she's going to die." We said we still wanted her because we would rather have her die comfortably if she was going to die. They made us pay for her (not full price thank goodness). When we got her home, my daughter immediately put her in a warm bath and worked on cleaning her up. We got her warm and fed her a mealworm. She survived the first day and we decided to feed her notmallytake her to the vet to see if there was anything we could do to make her more comfortable. The vet said she looked perfect (except for the head wound and missing tail which was already growing back). Two and a half weeks later, she's healing and thriving- gained 5 grams. The vet expects her to live a long life. We are so thankful that we rescued her from a place that did not know how to properly care for her.

They are a great pet store, always ready to help and answer any pet questions you have. The pics are of my mom's new baby boy from here. Teddy is perfect.

It's jam packed with pets to purchase. From fish to reptiles to puppies and kittens. We bought a gecko ("dottie") and are very happy with it. The store is just a little overwhelming how it's set up but they do have everything you need.

Best pet store I've found ever. Clean. Healthy animals. Friendly helpful staff. I've been a loyal patron of this place for many years.

The prices for the morphs I've seen are way too high, the conditions there are super bad one blood python I saw was smashing itself into its water bowl it probably is infested with mites. Then there was tokay gecko. I couldn't tell if it was alive or not in an enclosure that had no humidity. The cages are too small for some of those ball pythons, and the fish tanks are filthy

Pets palace has a good variety of pet supplies and a relatively decent variety of exotic fish. Their reptile department is honestly really sad (last couple times I was there). The snake, lizards, and geckos are constantly overheated, trying to cool off in their water bowls and pressing up against the glass. The flooring of the reptile enclosures are breaking down, some even splintering with dry mulch as bedding. Some didn't even have any hides. Don't go here for reptiles.
