I had a 4pm appointment today, and the people at this location called me and asked me if I could bring my dog in early. I understand that the supper bowl is today, so I agreed to change my schedule and bring my dog in early. After I dropped my dog off, they told me that they would call me when he was done. I came home to get some things done and by the time I got into my house they called and told me that I need to come and pick up my dog because he was having issues due to a couple of dogs were causing him to react. I told them that he is a rescue and was abused as a newborn pup, and he fears people and other dogs. This was my third appointment and they have not had any problems. Then the tech said that he was nipping at the tech, she made this accusation after I told her if I had not done you a favor he would not be in there with those dogs. After I had him for a month, he started nipping at me because he was never winged, and he doesn't do that anymore. I explained his history and his fear of anyone who isn't me. NO GOOD DEEDS GO UNPUNISHED. Their scheduled time to close is 7pm today. All I asked them was what would be the next available appointment, and they would not answer, just said "come get your dog". So they can go watch the supper bowl, no consideration for my dog or me, just themselves. I regret changing my appointment for them because the only thing they could do for my traumatized dog was to put him in an unsafe and stressful situation. So obviously their priority is a game, not their jobs and especially not my poor puppy. He doesn't understand why this is happening to him. I left him with people that I trusted to take care of him, and they prioritized a game over his care. All this over a game! They left him alone in an unsecured room alone. Door wasn’t even locked. Anyone could have walked in and taken my dog or done something to him. Remember these people do not care about your pet if it means that they will actually have to work for full shift that they are paid to do means nothing. Does this company know that these people leave early regularly. They take money for hours that they didn’t work. If anyone knows of a good dog groomer who cares more about the animals then regularly going home early. Bob

I don’t often make reviews unless someone does great or something is absolutely appalling. This was well beyond appalling. My wife and I were visiting shelters and in a good mood considering getting a dog, so we stopped by Pet Smart to check dog stuff because it was close. We went and looked at fish too and that’s when our day went south. There was an end cap with betas on it in individual cups and there were 6 or 7 betas belly up and dead. You could tell that a number of them had been passed for some time. We then went to the fish wall. Some of it was okay. Then the goldfish tank was heartbreaking. It was sad enough that they had so many goldfish shoved into one tank with multiple tanks around it empty. Then we saw some of the fish cannibalizing the dead goldfish at the bottom of the tank. Awful and sad, but it wasn’t as sad as the 12-24 goldfish that were dead in the filter and clearly visible when we bent over to look. It made my stomach churn and we exited immediately. The people who work there should be ashamed of themselves and frankly, they should not be employed there if that is their idea of fair treatment towards animals or humanity. I will go out of my way to make sure that I not anybody I know ever steps foot in that store again, for their own sake.

Twice in a row I showed up during business hours to have my dogs nails trimmed & they had nobody there to do it.

I'll choose a different store every time before I come to this location. Petco has never been half as dismissive. Jan, Monday 13th, 2024 evening. Terrible.

I’m a regular customer here but I don’t think I will be returning after encountering the manager Joe. I came in to buy crickets for two of my leopard geckos and they were only allotting 5 crickets per visit which is ridiculous because that is not going to do much for two hungry geckos. He was very rude and unprofessional when I made that point. His response was “well it’s been helping a lot of people out” then proceeded to walk away with an attitude. Very unprofessional and he should not be in customer service. I was just trying to understand and have him understand that 5 crickets is not enough for two geckos but he stormed off before I could even tell him what I had to feed. I rarely complain but this was unacceptable.

Not great, wish I would of never taken my dog here. Not only did they have her for 2 hours they only accomplished a bath without blow dry. Only after I got there did they trim her nails. She had never had any problems anywhere else she had been. They told me they had to air dry her because she didn't like the dryer. They told me it was going to be another 2 hours til she would be finished. I took her home wet. I've never seen my dog act the way she did after bringing her home. I'm not sure what they did to her while she was there but somethings not right with this place. Was charged 65.00 for nails and bath without dry. Never again

Brought my dog to get a wash, got a call after 10 minutes and was told that the dog was stressed so they would like me to take my wet dog back but still charged me for a full service.

Worst pet grooming horrible job missed alot of long hair and missed a few toe nails weren't cut will not bring my dog back
Also The one girl was very rude and would not listen to my opinion

If I could give one star I would. They are terrible communicators and they lie. The store manager said that he spoke to me and said my dog is aggressive and he is no longer allowed at the store because he is aggressive. My dog has never been aggressive and then they said there are many notes stating he is and not one person told me over the last 2 years that he was aggressive. The store manager lies and will not back up any information that I was told today.

Asked for flea and tick pills and got a just flea pill. Not a monthly one. They are all locked in a big case by the register and fealt like I was a criminal. Really unimpressed with paying 40 bucks for something I didn't want.

The groomers here do not do well with dogs that have anxiety. I have been to other pet smarts that were so much more understanding, kinder and more gentle. I would not go to this location. Find somewhere else that actually cares about animals!

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!!! If you have a big dog and won’t stay on the table, they will deny you. Charge you extra money!!! Call you to come pick up and not finish jobs!!! They are a waste of money and time!!!!! Very unprofessional and poor poor management!!!! Do not recommend and WILL NEVER come back!!!!!
