I purchased a TV due to a complicated credit situation as with most senior citizens. I was crafted. credit for a tv and tv stand. I made payments regularly as soon as my SS hit my bank. Last month I ran in to financial problem with a very expensive prescription required because a blood clot was discovered in my left leg
the drup was Pravastatin and with insurance it was over $400. I called the Shelbyville KY. I spoke with a male who identified himself as Cody. I made my situation plain to him. He put me on hold and stated that his manager would just put the missed payment on the end. I have explained this over and over. Each time I told each person what I was told and was told that a note would be placed in the computer. From that point on I realized harassing phone calls about my missed payment. I explained each time that my budget was limited and was only paid 1 time per month. Because I don't have a debit card at this time I was told they could not accept an e-check. I am depending on a 2nd party to mail a $200 check tomorrow
. I will continue this amount until my account in full. I will no longer ever be a customer of this. company. I have asked how many more payments I have to make
. Each time I am told someone will call or email me with the info. Neither ever came.

We had a house fire and really needed some furniture and appliances urgently. We didn't like the response we got in the store (everyone playing with their phones, games, facebook not paying any attention to us walking in) or the vague answers to what we could get and when but we were desperate so hope for the best. We detailed what we wanted and tried to get answers over the next three days over the phone but no clarity and the responses got ruder and worse over time. I wasn't going to put my wife just barely surviving a fire through this and went to Cort. Such a difference, they are a professional company in every phase.Guys, don't waste your time with Rent-a-Center. At least not until the have changed the management at Preston. Totally unprofessional.

Got several items from this place when it was old management but the new management is trash. They are rude. Talk to people like there worthless and I just spent 50 dollars for them to call and tell me they are NOT going to deliver my item instead are just canceling my order. No explanation. No reason. They did finally contact me and tell me why. However I hope they know I also have pictures of the beds they are claiming was broken and must've been broken when there person picked them up. Will be contacting further supportEdit. It's been over a week now I have not received my refund and they keep trying to take out 67 dollars for a item they refused to deliver. Calling corporate today

November 12, 2022 I went online to order a washer/dryer set. My card was charged $68.61. I called a few days later because no one had contacted me about delivery. The system “lost” my payment, so it cancelled my order. So on the phone we started a new agreement and my payment was going to post to the new agreement once it was “found.” Upon receiving the new agreement in my email, I noticed they had downgraded the set I purchased to one I didn’t want. I called the store and cancelled the entire agreement and was told I’d be refunded as soon as the snag was cleared up in the system. It is February 1, 2023, Franklin the store manager told me 3 weeks ago the district manager was in the store and was going to get this matter cleared up. I‘ve stopped by the store twice, called and emailed corporate, called the store in which no one answers…..CAN I PLEASE GET MY $68.61 BACK??????

We have been renting a refrigerator for about 2 years now. In that time they have had to replace it 3 times. Which is very annoying considering they have assured me that we won't have any issues with the new one. Each time they have been quick to get out here and replace the refrigerator.Now they are under new management and our refrigerator stopped working a week ago. I have called multiple times each time they act as though I haven't called before and they tell me it will be 2 or 3 days before they can replace it. This is unacceptable we will be taking our business elsewhere.
