Nice size room, clean and fresh smelling. They make it a point to ask you to not to request daily cleaning and bed making and even offer 1000 Hilton reward points. This particular hotel ran out of shampoo but the front desk concierge forgave a day of parking fees to make up for it. All in all it's still a nice hotel. It is near hospitals and you will hear sirens all night bringing people to emergency y room.

I was looking for a place the had parking ($15 a day), breakfast, and in a safe location. This hotel lived up to all three. Its a little older hotel but it provides everything that is needed. Parking is one of the cheapest in the area. I did not hear any of the rooms around me even through it was a fully booked night. Overall great experience here.

We had some issues with the room and ended up haven't to switch rooms twice in one night. The GM was apologetic the next morning and comped our accommodations . The continental breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles..pretty standard. The visit to Louisville was very enjoyable, we loved it.

Stayed last night. These are the issues with our room.- toilet did not work upon arrival.- the sink spit out gross, rusty water.- the ac did not work.- I was overcharged for bottled water. The sign read $3, I was charged $4.- saw roaches in the stairwell. The toilet did not flush and let the water down. It was awful. Rusty water from the sink and an ac that didn’t properly cool and roaches in the stairwell.

We have been here a few times at this location. All the other times were great. However this time we booked 2 rooms, and when entering one of them we immediately seen dirty towels on the bathroom floor and the bed was all messed up. The other room was good only they didn't have a power cord for the t.v. Maintenance brought one up though right away. Only when we went down to ask about the dirty room the guy at the front desk asked did we still want it. Like seriously why tf would I want a dirty room bro c'mon lol. So they gave us another one but still this has been a bad experience all around this trip.

I am an addict to the detail. Room 514 needs some work to be done to repair all the defects that are visible to a watching eye like mine. The entrance hallway, the room and the bathroom the shower door, all need attention. I see the air conditioning unit that is in the room as an old system and I think all rooms are similar. This is an old system and should be upgraded like the classy rooms of a superior quality.=======Edit.Returned Friday night to the room to find it not cleaned and the bed was not done. No new towels were even placed. We will use the towels one more time. This is really unpleasant and bad publicity for a hotel like this. Sad. I was right to review it 3 stars only. Yes, I was right.

This location was super clean and so reasonably priced. Every staff member had a smile and was very friendly. If you're in the area definitely stay here!!Rooms: Room was clean and well maintained.Safety: Felt very safe here. In a big city you never know who will walk thru the doors. The main door remained locked unless you had a key or the front desk associate let you in.Food & drinks: Loved the accessible at any hour snacks/food and drinks.

Do not stay here. Kids came home with bug bites. We had to have all of our belongings professionally cleaned as to not bring bed bugs in our home. Three others in our group also had the same experience. Our room door would not close properly. When we alerted staff they said they were aware and nothing was done. A stranger walked into our room 3 times!!! Unacceptable.Safety: We could not allow our teenagers to walk outside of the hotel alone. People were arrested right at the front door for alleged trafficking. This is not a safe space.

Stayed overnight due to flight cancellation . Strange odor on one of the beds pillows and my room # 434 had a strong smell of cat urine. I would never stay there again . Do not waste your time or money . Stay somewhere else. Absolutely the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at.

It's going to be a loooong week! My husband and I are clearly in the worst room in the hotel. It's located behind the elevators, and the configuration of the two rooms is bizarre. The hotel clerk informed me that the hotel is only at 30% capacity......he has missed an opportunity to try to find us a better room as we are staying for 6 nights. There are earplugs next to the bed for the loud drag racing that is happening on the streets below. The pool isn't working and has apparently been out of commission for months. And our bedding. The comforter is very heavy, so my husband and I took it off and are sleeping under the sheets and with a blanket that I keep in my car........For me, personally, I may look for other accommodations, but I dread the thought of having to pack everything up again and move out......Things might look better in the light of day, but as of now, we're not off to a good start......

Near perfect stay during Memorial Weekend for two nights. The location was perfect for a electric scooter ride to wherever we needed to go (specifically the Big Four Bridge). The staff was super friendly upon arrival around 9pm on a Friday. Super clean room, no huge frills, pool was closed but did not care. We had a peaceful rest on a nice bed. Breakfast from 6a-10a which was convenient. Nothing fancy or out of the ordinary, but was enjoyable and there was plenty of food. The whole hotel is gated as well as the parking. We had no tampering with our vehicle or anything taken out of the truck bed. Again, another great night of sleep and then an early morning departure. I would come back if the opportunity presented itself and would definitely recommend.Rooms: Very clean, simple, and quiet besides the street traffic.Safety: Felt safe the whole stay. The area around was nice and not sketchy.

Nice location. Easy walk to whiskey row. Staff is friendly. Room is clean. Only at 15 - 20% occupancy which is really weird for a major city. Big issues are noise outside of the hotel. Constant sirens and motorcycles. The other issue is the homeless and drug users around the city. Not their fault. It's Biden's America. A nice Hampton in a convenient location.

We had a nice stay! I knew ahead of time from other reviews that the pool would be closed, and I called ahead of time to verify. Staff was very nice. I thought the breakfast was pretty good. My husband didn't have a ton of choices, but he is diabetic and doesn't eat certain meats (so that's on him.) Our room had a faint smell of sweat (?) upon entering that was kind of off-putting, but it wasn't overwhelming. I think part of that is just me being pickier as I get older? Also the mattress was just ok. Decent enough for the price range. Carpets were in good shape, bathroom was clean and had vinyl floor put in somewhat recently. Hot water and good pressure in the shower. We had to get the card keys because the app lock wasn't working, which wasn't a big deal, I prefer the physical key anyway!Walkability: Great location! Easy walk to NuLu, Whiskey Row, the Riverfront, Main Street and 4th street live.

Decent. Room was clean and staff was great. It was a perfect location for walking downtime. Lower rating because my kids were excited to swim but the pool was not working. We didn't read that on the website, although I did read in the reviews on the way down here that it was down 3 weeks ago. I feel like that should be stated CLEARLY on the website.

A bit pricey (approx $250 for 1 night, Thursday) compared to close-by, higher-rated hotels. Overall, a standard stay with no issues. The breakfast is not too tasty, but the attendant was extra courteous and fully attentive.Rooms: Standard, no frillsWalkability: Near the center of Main St, so easy to walk to downtown attractions.
