This store is always closing an locking doors for hours at a time are they will only let there pick of customers they let inside. Also it's been even around 6 pm an mostly 10 pm -4 am they will leave the doors lock till around 1 shift coming in an open up before the get there very in convenient for any of the hotel customers as well as us regulars

I wish someone would do something at the Thorntons at Bardstown Rd and the Watterson Xway. It is so convenient for me to get Gas at this intersection but I am so over both stations! The pumps are always messed up, never get receipt at the pumps. Workers are always nice and on top of things but the pump situation at both stations mess my day up continually!!!!!

I have been here many different times, and I personally think that this gas station is not half bad however I would also to take consideration on there prices that's one of the few thing that I do not like beside some of the shelves not being restocked because for example it cost $3.99 just for a bag of Takis making it 1 cent off to $4.00 per bag now if they would lower that by $1.00 or $1.50 people would be all over that because if they is one thing I know about selling stuff is that people always look for the best deals on whatever they can find, and as a result is might sell more at a lower price, and the more it is sold the more profit that is made, but besides that I myself never had any other problems.

How is it that there is another Thorntons directly across the street from this location and it is like night and day. This 3300 location is dirty with trash all over the floor. 2 employees on shift this Saturday 3-26-22 @7:45 pm BUT only one working. The young, obviously obese, female was perched in the corner of the counter and wasn't getting up for any reason. I walked in and instead of standing up she just looked over her shoulder and asked i what i wanted. I asked for something that had to be retrieved from the back store room area and she said they probably didn't have it UNTIL she told the other employee to go check the back. He was handling another customer and was very polite when asking me to wait till he could go and check. Another customer was waiting in line when he excused himself from the counter to go to the back. The obese employee just sat there while she could have risen to help the other customers BUT just sat there rubbing her head complaining that her day was almost over. Are these 2 locations under the same management? All signs appear to be the answer NO. The location across from 3300 Bardstown is ALWAYS clean and the employees are 95% polite and working. Someone needs to reevaluate this store and it's practices. Plus a customer came in and asked if there was a restroom for their child t use and the female, who would not relinquish her perch tell the customer "GO use the one across the street.".

Well, this is a bit of a tough one for me, because usually I am such a stickler for Speedways and typically make an attempt to shop at those establishments (though really with Speedway, it is all about their rewards program! There is not one place with as good of a rewards program as the Speedy Rewards one)! That being said, I have to admit I am a big fan of this Thornton's. It is in a great location (who doesn't have to be on Bardstown Rd at least every once in a while?) and is always super clean. I do mean always by that too, because I have been here at very different times of the day and night, from a little after noon to a little after midnight. Always well-stocked and clean. It's kind of hard to judge the service as a whole, because I have found extreme differences in service depending on whose working. About half of my visits, it has been where it feels like you are completely being ignored (along with any other customers there). At these times (or at least the first few times it happened), all of us customers would all give each other kind of confused glances, like, okay, whose going to make sure they know there are people waiting, because they are not going to act until we do? Usually, I would end up mentioning something aloud first, but I'm never rude about it. I wouldn't mind so much if they didn't let the lines get long while they go on about their personal lives on end before responding to customers. Though, once we are acknowledged, I do have to admit the cashiers that don't seem to notice us at first are actually quite kind and attentive. Now, the other half of the times I have gone, service was spot-on, speedy, and spectacular. I have no idea what the difference is, maybe it's different shifts or something; I'll pay better attention next time. Overall, (despite not having the rewards system I am personally fond of, ha), this is a great convience store. Cleanliness, stocked better than any other gas station close to here, and great hours make a difference though, so the place easily gets a 4.

I visit this place real frequently. 3300 Bardstown Rd. Brett is so friendly and very helpful. Brian is always a friendly face to see also. There are several girls that work there that just make my day better as well. This is the only Thornton's I stop at.Thank you Brett and all the other employees that make my days and nights better! Kudos to all!

Used to get gas a coffee there although if you need to use the restrooms your out of luck they're always closed dont matter what time of day you stop they're closed .Circle k restrooms are always open and where I now buy fuel.

This is the worst Thorntons by far in Louisville. Everything is filthy even during coronavirus time. While in there a commercial came on talking about how Thorntons is cleaning thoroughly during this time. lmfao. I will go to the Thortons across the street from now on.

Dont stop at this Thorntons to buy gas or food the restrooms are always closed and you cant wash your hands after pumping gas , go to the one across the street or to Circle K their restrooms are always open

Ive been in this store multiple times and everytime i go around this hour (1pm, or just plain 1st shift) this foreign lady and black lady always act as if they have a mean demeanor towards me. The foreign lady always tell me she dont know how to split cards at the register and the black lady always rolls her eyes at me and talk rudely. Then they get together and gossip about me, ive caught them a couple of times and now they just do it in plain sight. Im not going to stop going to this reliable store but its definitely something to watch for. Theyre fraudulent.
