I stop there on Saturday and Sunday mornings to get a Newspaper. I work Security for 12 hours. The newspaper SUCKS, nothing in it. (Where is the Sports stories on our local teams.) NO collage sport results. The workers at Thorntons are very nice. Makes starting the day easier.

Not a bad gas station. Love the ice cream machine. The kids like the slushies.

The store clerk treated my mother very badly. He offended her. My mother doesn't speak English and I spoke for her. I asked him for some cigarettes and he told me that he wanted to serve us and the other people behind us. They told the clerk why he treated that lady badly, she didn't want to serve us just because we don't speak English and because we are Isphanos.

The ice cream machine never works. I think they bought a used one from McDonalds....They get it working and with in 2 days, out of service sign is on it. It probably works, they just don't want to clean it....

As a driver of 4 years and a military brat that has seen far more of my share of gas station restrooms.I can proudly say the Man's room at this location is the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen in my whole life.Thank-you for your efforts miss. A paper receipt of review given just not as good. Good evening and happy Thunder.

This location at the corner of National Turnpike and Outer Loop is always hopping. And their fresh hotdogs and sandwiches full during the day and a clean store.

I'll preface this by saying Thornton's is by far one of my favorite chains of fueling stations and I've been a loyal customer for years now. Even today's stop was well-planned and added to my route. Not only did they have the best price of Diesel from all the providers in 100mi plus radius, but I had saved an additional 10 c/gal discount for the day as soon as it popped in my feed. EVERYWHERE nationwide I've enjoyed excellent service and a complementary beverage with my fuel purchases (spending $400-$1,000 on fuel doesn't necessarily spell "free drink" but the gesture still counts).NOT TODAY!Initially cashier was rather polite and friendly. I pre-paid for fueling and she took down my phone number to enter in system to process discounted fuel prices.I got back in to collect my receipts for IFTA purposes reflecting the gallons in Kentucky and I noticed no discount was applied so I very discreetly and politely asked if there was some misunderstanding about my fuel purchase. And... Here we go!"Sir, maybe all you do is drive a truck all day, meanwhile we behind the counter have to ACTUALLY go through the motions (!?) And work... So I didn't actually enter the number and you should've reminded me, that's why you didn't get your discount on fuel (about $15ish*) and you don't get this coffee free. Next time use your mouth.(What The Actual F!?)"I was speechless. I do respect the work of the person behind ANY counter. Long, stressful, repetitive and (hopefully not) underpaid hours. But do I need to remind her that all "the motions" are currently being taken out of the human interaction with the use of applications and other chains easily circumvent her position by installing a self-checkout kiosk!?All I'm trying is to go about my day with the least hassle and ZERO humiliation if at all possible. She has ABSOLUTELY no right to insult my intelligence by demeaning my job. If it's not for my job she's literally out of one herself. I'm spending good money at her store and deserve basic respect and civility. It's no longer a question of the financial discrepancy between services promised v services provided. It is the attitude of a fellow human being on a power trip momentary lapse... SAD.And by the way your layout is a traffic disaster in the making especially leaving the industrial complex a semi needs to pull in making a dangerous left on a busy intersection and another MORE DANGEROUS left crossing into heavy two-way traffic.Lesson learnt. I guess.Be well.
