This branch is one of the busiest in the Louisville area as it serves a very large area. Although it is always under staffed there is always a wait, sometimes a long wait. The staff though rushed is always friendly and professional.
Thislocation does offer passport service. Appointment needed for passports.

I was having really hard time trying to figure out how to get Christmas presents for my sister and her family out in time and an employee there named Dem went way above and beyond to help me figure out what I needed to do and how much and how to do it as efficiently as possible. I could not have gotten those to her like I did without her, it was truly a huge blessing. Thank you so much!

Ok, so the address is close, but wrong. It does have 24 hour self service but it is actually across the street from Fern Creek High School. If you are on Bardstown Road, heading away from downtown, turn right just before the yellow El Nopal building it is down a block or so on your right.
