The worst customer service experience.

Definitely ignoring duties & responsibilities at this location. Terminations can fix a lot of problems. No excuses & lies are accepted for failing the public.

This Post Office has had good service and very kind employees for years but I have experienced very rude behavior from an employee named Eric for tie last several months. I have to say the way he speaks to customers and especially elderly is very disrespectful. I would suggest he be moved to another department where maybe he can just argue and be belligerent to boxes instead of customers all day.

Lost mail... pretty consistently, too. Unresponsive to claims filed. Mail carrier regularly delivers our mail to the wrong address and we consistently get other people's mail. No ability to do anything about it, but definitely one star service from our carrier and postmaster general. Individual employees in the local office are kind enough, but I think their hands are tied, too.

We went there to renew a passport on Saturday walk in and there was a line we waited about an hour but the employee was very nice and he worked so hard

The post office agent was friendly and helpful. Because I had to go when it was walk up only, it wasn’t even a big deal.

Edited 2/4/24No changes to original post, adding more at the end.Original part 1The passport guy at the office today was terrible, my appointment was 1:15pm 1/22/24, he was a bit rude, he was speaking to someone the whole time on his phone through earbuds while I was talking about my private information. While I was writing my application, he had the office door cracked and unlocked, and he left the room for like 5-10 minutes, while that happened some stranger knocked then immediately opened the cracked door when he didn't hear a response, asked us how long it'd be then tried to stay in the room while the guy was away and my personal documents were layed out on the desk for him to see. Thankfully my cousin was there to help as he had gotten one before and told the stranger to get out, which shouldn't have been necessary in the first place.Without asking me to make sure its what I needed or wanted he billed me and check marked my document for the most expensive type of passport, ~$206 I went in expecting to spend around $160-$170 for a passport card with expedited shipping, the website did NOT say anything about the card not being able to expedited, I messed up my first application by forgetting it at home, and messed up some information on the first one he gave me; which on that one I checked that I wanted the card not the book, so he had me rewrite it, which is fine and my bad but I forgot to check that same box this time around as a line was building behind me, when passing it to him to make sure i filled it out right this time he just casually without any words or hesitation checked the Passport + Book box, I told him I needed it expedited, when I looked down it flashed $206 then corrected to $261 for the expedited order... The following is the gist of our conversation, not exact quotes but near exact.- I objected and he said "What do you mean thats the price"- I asked what passport he checked me for because I watched him do it and he said "theres only one kind of passport, the book one"- I confirmed what he was saying by asking "do they not do the passport where its just the card?"- He said "we do but it cannot be expedited, and besides you cant fly with it"- I replied that "I was not planning on flying, were driving"- He said "You never told me that"- I said "You didn't ask me or read my previous document that I did check it on, you just checked book + card"There was then a confrontational back and forth where he was pressuring me into getting what he checked me for even though I stated I was barely able to afford what he was charging me for, then he kept rudely asking me if I was sure after I said "I guess Ill just get what you rang me up for even though the website didn't say what he was telling me because I need the passport and non-expedited may not make it in time for my trip, wasting my time and money". I just gave in out of frustration with the guy and paid the $261, then got my picture, he then just kept talking on the phonecall without telling me to go while signing more papers, he told me he'd be keeping my birth certificate and sending it with my passport, and when I get my package I needed to send my certificate back as its part of my passport (which sounds suspicious and confused those I've said that to), then he gave me my receipt and kept doing his own thing still saying nothing to me, he then looked up after a minute or two and told me to leave.I didn't catch the guys name, but he appeared to be African American, with short black hair covered by a hat, using what appeared to be beats Bluetooth earbuds to talk on the phone, he also had a curly short black beard with white stripes on the chin part of his beard.Edit Part 2I just received my passport, nothing is wrong with it, but they kept my birth certificate, it never got sent back with my passport like they claimed it would.I will be calling, if it goes poorly I'll be adding more.

My neighbors and I haven’t received mail in over a week. I work from home and haven’t seen the mail man in a while. The last time I did receive mail, it wasnt with my address on it. Not sure what’s going on… 40243.

The 40245 carrier is absolutely awful at their job. Constantly delivering mail to the wrong address. Marking packages as delivered that have not been. Do better USPS. Delivering mail can't be that complicated.

The service to my home from this post office is laughable at best. But really it’s quite infuriating. They will shove packages in your mailbox that have no business being stuffed in a mailbox, so much so that the plastic wrapping gets ripped upon my trying to remove it, bending pictures that clearly say do not bend on the envelope (envelope ripped to shreds as well), not delivering a package that was “out for delivery” because the mailbox was stuffed full of other packages arriving the same day and they couldn’t be bothered to walk to the front door so they just hold it for the next day. Then absolute definition of laziness. Complete lack of care and consideration for other peoples things. I wish we could choose our post office because I would gladly choose a different location that is actually closer to my home but in another county.

Worst service ever. They lose my mail regularly and I often receive mail of others that don't live on my street or my neiborhood or even same zip code. Wonder who keeps getting my mail? Many times my mailbox is left open especially on rainy days and mail gets wet or mail is shoved in so hard that rear mailbox door opens and mail is hanging out of box.

I am only rating the Customer Service of the counter employees. This rating has nothing to do with the management, passport services or mail carriers. I come to this post office multiple times per week and have for the past year to mail packages. There are 4 regular employees who I encounter regularly. I am not able to get their names and I am not comfortable asking them so I will say it is 2 women and 2 men - all 4 are African American and all are under 35 in my estimation. I am only describing them in case management reads this they know who to give props to. All 4 of them are extremely courteous to all customers and always accommodating. I have seen customers irate over various issues that are not the fault of the counter person and each and every time the employees have been beyond gracious - I have witnessed this countless times. They are always keeping busy and are quick yet not pushy when handling shipment of packages. All 4 deserve a raise and I know all USPS locations are short staffed which causes frustration with customers and stress with employees. I commend the workers at this location for amazing customer service even when the line is out the door or a customer is irate (neither of which is the fault of the counter person)…

I always take my business mail to this specific location because the employees are efficient and friendly. Donald, and the rest of the team, have always been courteous and have worked with me on several occasions when I am in need of extra help. Hard to imagine I’d leave any USPS location 5stars, but they do an excellent job with customer service.

Opens at 8am listed on the door. By 8.30 the door was still locked and nobody in sight, the line of people started to give up because we have to be on time to work unlike some. Thank you for using my time, gas and patience USPS.
