This postal branch is pathetic. I pay for 2 day delivery, but the item doesn't arrive until 5 days. Never paying extra again.

Since 2019 Okolona USPS office has been showing steep decline in diligence, professionalism, performance, professional courtesy, clerk's people skills and accuracy of mail delivery. But since 2024 this decline hit the rock bottom... First Class Mail, as well as packages, are getting misselivered much more often then ever. Around 50% of large envelopes are not being delivered at all... To ensure proper delivery of a first class large envelope we as a customers must resort to much more expensive Flat Rate Priority Mail. To prevent misdelivery of a regular less than 1 oz First Class Mail we must attach special non-machine processing stemp to an envelope. Several of P.O. boxes are out of service for the last 5 years... Long lines of customers in waiting of service in a hot building since the A/C in the building is not working for the last 2½-3 months.
Nevertheless, one of Okolona Post Office clerks tops it all with her abrasive attitude toward customers... We usually avoid getting served by her... We concider Okolona USPS branch the worst one in Louisville, KY.

Needs to shut down. Worst post office in Louisville. Always closing early. Not to mention all the illegal things they are doing with peoples mail. Just go to another location.

This is the worst place to do any kind of paperwork. The people are very rude and not at all friendly. In the passport area, there's a woman named Winnie who is extremely rude and racist toward Hispanics. I went there twice to get a passport for my son and me, and she treated us terribly. I arrived early, and she rudely told me to wait for my turn. Very bad service at this post office.

My letter arrived completely open, with missing documents. I feel utterly disrespected—it’s unsettling that not even this service guarantees my security.😡

Two weeks in a row without passport appointment. They canceled my appointment the day of with no offer to reschedule or resolve just “sorry for your inconvenience” which is like a slap on the face. To make matters worse they WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE, and are booked for next Friday.
The office was closed 3 days this week, 2 due to weather and one due to jimmy carter and they won’t do this simple job.
