Best post office in town. The ladies in there now are very professional and helpful. Not a lot of standing room, but you don't need it because the line is never as long as other places in town. 10/10

Most trips to the Post Office fill me with the same joy of visiting the dentist to get a cavity filled. So, finding a little spot that doesn't make me feel that way is worth sharing! I was running errands in Middletown recently and realized that I needed to drop something off at the post office. I pulled out my phone to search for the closest one and saw that it was in nearby Anchorage, and just a few minutes' drive. I set my map to go there and was on my way. As I approached, the hustle and bustle of Shelbyville Rd gave way to the bucolic peace of Anchorage. I followed gently winding roads veiled with leafy trees until I reached the quaint Post Office. Inside it was quiet, and a friendly (!) employee immediately helped me get my item mailed. No waiting required, as I was the only person in the post office that day. We chatted pleasantly while she weighed and printed my postage, and I was quickly in my way. A little gem of a find, this USPS location is sure to put a smile on your face as well!

Horrible delivery service. They constantly deliver my packages to the wrong house on a different street with same house number. After filing a claim, they determine that they delivered it to the wrong house. They state they try to retrieve it but are unsuccessful. I’m guessing they’re not trying very hard. After that, they simply close the case without taking any responsibility. So, I’m out the cost of the package and I have to buy it again hoping it’ll be delivered by UPS or Amazon.

It’s really frustrating to see a federal employee not wearing a mask while working in this post office even though there are signs everywhere telling customers to wear masks for safety.

I like the look of this post office. Has a very nice feel to it, which is kind of strange to say about a post office. The woman I spoke with was helpful. No issues. Just a regular old post office with a pretty cool feel due to design and location.

The posted hours are wrong. They are only open m-f 9:30 am till 2:00 pm. A wasted drive.
