“Update.I simply didn’t write nearly enough a few years ago. lol. Sorry my friendly neighborhood puppy (yes I know you see other animals also) doctors. ;-)I first met Dr Hill about eight years ago when my Alaskan Malamute pup needed some services and the previous random vet was not up to Hagrid’s needs.First Dr Hill was the only vet in the area (yes I could have and would have driven to Dayton Ohio but it was very nice to not have to) who would give my pup a vasectomy, this has worked out great and yes in non-us parts of the world is actually fairly common.Second, Hagrid ended up with Juvenile Cataracts. Luckily while Hill didn’t directly perform the services needed he did know how to diagnose this issue and where to get proper treatment.Otherwise, hill and all the doctors and awesome staff have been great with all of our pups even through the COVID years. We have Hagrid (Alaskan Malamute - 8 years), Shurie (Boxer - 4 years), and Wile (Mt Cur - 2 years). They also seem our previous boxer Nessy during the second half of her life. Sure miss that pup.Thank you all for being awesome to us and our babies.******Always very nice.”

“"Pets will give you some of the best days of your life -- and one of the worst." For several years, my family has used Goose Creek Animal Clinic for our pets' needs. Conveniently located for us and with a small but friendly staff, they helped some of our older animals with chronic conditions. Dearest to my heart was my Maine Coon mix, whose life I'm sure they extended by at least a year after his kidneys started to fail in old age. But alas, his day finally came recently, and we knew that it was time to say goodbye. On the sad day, the tech greeted me at the front desk and took me back to a private room. I'll spare the details, but suffice it to say that the staff was caring and compassionate, and allowed me a few minutes with him as he slipped off into a deep sleep that would lead him to kitty cat kingdom come. The office was surprisingly peaceful (no hyper dogs barking or the like), with gentle music playing in the background as I said goodbye. Despite the inevitable tears and the sad occasion, I couldn't have imagined a better place or way to say goodbye. A few days later, I was touched to also receive a handwritten sympathy card at my house with a poem and their condolences at having to say that hard goodbye. It's that sort of extra touch in addition to their great care that makes them stand out. No matter where your pet is in its life, you can confidently choose Goose Creek Animal Clinic to provide excellent care, and to make sure your needs as a pet parent are met as well.”

My only complaint was I thought being charged $25 to check our dogs blood pressure was a lot when we were already having other services done. Otherwise I feel like the pricing has been reasonable and the advice on meds/no meds has been great and they've helped me try to keep cost down.”

They are reasonable, compassionate people and have realistic expectations for what procedures should and shouldn't be done. They aren't going to upsell you just for the extra money like some other vet offices are more than happy to do. They also have great hours of operation. Deck vet is worth the drive from any part of Louisville.”
