“Barbour Lane is always the best and very welcoming to us! Our dog simba has been going there for a couple years now and we have always had the sweetest techs and the doctors as well. Simbas struggled with lots of allergies and we finally been able to get it under control with the help of the doctor and the techs. “We came to Preston Animal Hospital as a new patient today with our cat who had recently been diagnosed with heart failure. Dr Ramsey and team were so kind and explained everything super clearly. Later that same day, our cat was in severe distress and after I called, they decided they would wait for us even though the clinic was supposed to be closed. “Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish!
From the moment we called with an emergency, the staff at Derby City Crossroads Animal Hospital was incredible. I explained that we’d had a bad experience in the past with my German Shepherd because he doesn’t like to be held, and they immediately made me feel at ease. They offered the option to prescribe anxiety medication for him to take two hours before his appointment, which was such a thoughtful touch and immediately made me feel better.
They were able to get him in same day, quickly diagnosed a double ear infection, and treated him with such patience and care. To my surprise, my dog actually did amazing during the visit, a true first for him! Every single staff member we interacted with was kind, understanding, and professional.
You can tell they truly care about both the animals and their owners. I can’t thank them enough for turning what could’ve been a stressful visit into such a positive experience. Highly recommend to everyone in need of a vet. five stars all the way!

“I’ve been a costumer of Fenwick for majority of my 9yr old lab mixes life and I just cannot rave enough about this place and its employees. I adopted an elderly cat recently and he’s had some dental issues and they have answered every call, every question, helped every way they can. My entire friend group takes their pets here and I just love them and how much they love my fur babies. They will have my cat for a couple days and I know he’ll be in the best hands with the most reasonable prices. 13/10stars I love Fenwick!”
“I have been going to this vet for a couple years now. I genuinely love the people that work here and have had the best experience! I won't deny, there was a time when I first started going that I got hassled for an overweight cat (but realistically, after taking a step back, I understand this is coming from a place of care & I wouldn't want my cat to have irreversible health issues because I wasn't well informed). BUT, I always feel listened to and feel like these people truly care about my pets as much as I do. They can be kind of expensive (most vets are tho) but I feel like it's worth the price because they go the extra mile. For example, I took one of my fur babies the other day for suspicious behavior and they've called me two days in a row to check on her. Love this place and their staff! “Dr. Jones has retired and the Cat Clinic is now operated by Dr. Kristen Corbett. She is wonderful. We have two cats and are recently trying to introduce a third, and very challenging kitty to our home. This third little guy (actually, not so little - 12 pounds) just doesn't know what he thinks of humans yet and can be pretty aggressive. We wanted a full health screen on him to protect our other cats and Dr. Cobett was amazing. I was bitten three times just getting him into a carrier, but Dr. Cobett found a way to give him a complete exam and do all the required blood work. This was no easy task, and she took it on knowing what she was up against. We are extremely grateful and delighted to have her as our new vet. I recommend her highly.”

“Dr Turn did an excellent job in diagnosing our basset hound Tatiana! Her spleen was enlarged and had a tumor on it. The suggested I take her to Metropolitan for surgery, even though he was more then capable, they did not have the blood and she may have need a cardiologist on hand. I admire that in a vet! He gave me options and some were not good.He also explained the expense of going the surgery route. But they were option nonetheless. I chose to go to Metropolitan and do the surgery which is not cheap. Like I told everyone, I love my dog as much as a child or my husband and if it were my husband, I would not chose to put him to sleep but do anything to prolong his life! The same goes for my precious dog!

Tatiana came through surgery wonderful. They removed a soft ball size tumor on her spleen as well as the spleen. The doctor also tacked her stomach as a precaution against future bloat. We are hoping Tatiana will come home tomorrow!”
