Awesome experience. I made a late appointment at 5:15 pm on a Tuesday. I got a call at 3:30 asking if I wanted to come in early. The doctor answered all of my questions and explained everything to me. I brought my own frames in that I had purchased from the internet. They were able to put my prescribed lenses in them even after the technician who was working at the time said it couldn't be done. Terri & Misty both said assured me that it could be done and that they would have the head technician look at them in the morning. Sure enough less than 24 hours later I had all 3 of my frames I brought in ready for pickup. The service was fast the staff were professional & friendly. I would recommend this place to anybody who needs glasses, an eye exam or lenses put in a pair of frames you bought elsewhere.

My visit went very well. The receptionists were very cordial. The eye technician conducted the exam promptly and efficiently The doctor took time to explain the findings of my eye exam and the eye glass technician took the time to explain how to get the most from my benefits. It was a pleasurable experience.

The calling system is horrible. It is near impossible to get to a real person IN the actual store. Very poor customer service through a phone call.

Great staff!!! A little bit of a wait time but it's understandable given the DMV is pretty much telling the optometrists to do the exams now. Plus the Valley Station office just had the shooting. People feel safer going to you guys. I believe that's why you are so busy. But your staff handled it like pros.

The people were nice. The optometrist was very informative and explained everything very well. The woman who took the photos of my eyes and started the appointment was kind and funny. There was a woman fussing at the lady at the counter and she handled it very well and was patient despite the woman questioning her abilities, that impressed me. The woman who took my order for my glasses was helpful explaining the type of lenses, I was going back and forth on rather to get transition lenses because I thought there was a tint when inside, she showed me her own glasses and explained I could get it without. Over all great experience

I walked into Visionworks and stood that the front desk.
A woman behind the rear desk said to the room (with three people in it) “if you have an appointment you can come to the front desk.”
I looked over to her and she was looking directly at me. I smiled and said “I thought I WAS at the front desk.”
She rolled over to the printer as I approached and said to the other two working beside her “I ain’t got no time for stupidity today.”
Then asked me “Insurance or self-pay?” I said “I have a benefits card.” She said, “Self-pay.”
She printed the paper and put it on the desk in front of me. At this point, I’m no longer smiling. She said “sign that.”
I signed it, and told her “I’m sorry you’re having a bad day.”
She replied “oh I’m having a fine day.”
I sat down and looked up my card and got in line again. A different lady at the counter called me up. I said “I found my card, can you check to see if it’s insurance?” She agreed and checked and confirmed it was insurance.
The other lady then said “he told me it was a paycard.”
I firmly replied “I told you it was a benefit card.” The other desk lady printed the paperwork and updated it. She was nice.
The rest of the experience was fine. The optometrist was fine. The lens tech was fine.
The thing about healthcare, including vision, is that nobody wants to be there. It’s an inconvenience that requires they show up for themselves as a part of their body fails, and a little levity makes that inconvenience and discomfort a little better.
Showing your soft skills in a healthcare role goes a lot further than with other less-essential services.
Be kind to people that didn’t ask to be a part of your bad day. If you work in healthcare, understand that they aren’t either, and if they’re trying to make theirs better, consider taking a cue from their optimism. You’ll feel better about yourself.

Very pleasant experience, each staff member I encountered was friendly and answered all my questions. At no time did I feel rushed to hurry so that could get the next patient.

We usally go to the Outerloop location. The LOBBY customer service there neeeds improvements. We switched locations to the Dixie highway location and I am so glad I did instead of just switching companies. If your fed up with the OUTERLOOP store you may want to try this location. VERY SATISFIED

Anyone thinking about going this place for an eye exam I would think twice I went there with insurance gave them all my information up front told them what I wanted went through the whole exam then they tried to charge me for the contact eye exam and for my contacts when my insurance pays for all that but they told me they don't accept that part of insurance it's a scam so I would not recommend this place to anyone
