Excellent up-to-date, fully equipped facility; sports medicine trainer "knows his stuff" & provided targeted session with immediate results, along with solid plan going forward. Definitely a place to try & I think you'll be staying. Working on muscle tone & joint flexibility for choreography performance & endurance. There's something here for everyone. Also, MAT (muscle activation therapy) is available, bringing even greater flexibility to the treatment options available.

My first time at Yoga Integrated Science and I loved it and can't wait to go back. I took the 9:30 Vin-2-Yin class with Tricia. I'm new to yoga, but Trica was a big help. She makes sure everyone is comfortable she tells and helps you with each move. The class was for an hour. I run and lift weights doing the week, so this class ready helped loosen me up.

I've been doing yoga in some variation for over half of my life (19 years y'all!) and its a blessing to my body. But finding Yoga I.S. is a total game changer. This is hands down the best yoga, pilates, & barre I have ever done. Lauren, the owner, and her knowledgable staff are so good at cueing that even the lesser experienced person can follow exactly what is going on. They are all very in tune with how the body operates and help you train smaller isometric muscles to tone even the smallest areas. I like to call 'em my sexy muscles! They always change up the class routines and use various props to take your practice to the next level. The music they choose kind rocks too. It's just wonderful, I can't say enough about them-best kept secret in Louisville for yoga, pilates, & barre.

I can think of many reasons to recommend the Yoga IS Teacher Training Program, but the best reason is the leadership of Yoga IS founder and teacher training director Lauren Eirk and meditation expert Donna O'Bryan. Lauren has a wealth of knowledge about yoga, anatomy, mind-body connection, and much more. Her unique and progressive approach to the practice of yoga is one of strength building versus "stretching", while at the same time teaching students to honor their body structures to avoid injury. The 200-hour course I recently completed has given me the knowledge and skill set to be a highly effective instructor who understands how to teach anatomy-based yoga.

As we approach graduation, I can't express the admiration and gratefulness I have for the brilliant Lauren Eirk, Donna O'Bryan and all my mates who have taken this journey into a brave new world of anatomical science, and mind, brain, body awareness. What an incredible holistic experience, whether we are on to teaching or using the abundant wealth of knowledge and self-empowering insights to deepen the exploration of our practice. Thank you all!

I love everything about this yoga studio. Lauren and her staff are amazing- the way the cue poses helps me understand what I'm supposed to be feeling in my body and what each pose is supposed to be bring. I feel like I get a little bit stronger every time I go to class. Class times are convenient to me and the classes are phenominal. This is the only studio in town that focuses on strength building using a scaffolding of traditional yoga poses. Weights, pliates tools and yoga props bring a new understanding to your basic poses. This is definately not your average yoga studio. The programming here is leages above and beyond what a traditional studio brings to your practice.

Well, i never knew Id be doing YOGA ever but my doctor mentioned pilates and planking and so my girlfriend said she knew of a place and it was the best. she wasn't lying, I've been going almost everyday for over a year now and it has completely changed my life. The staff are very knowledgable and the clientele is very nice, its a community you might say. Lauren has really changed my life for the better and she keeps up with me and makes sure to keep a personal touch. This place is amazing and if your going to try it out, make sure you get the one month unlimited, it is the best deal to get started. I would recommend this yoga studio to everyone, it is not traditional, we do a lot of strength training and use a lot of props and weights! Lauren will transform your life if your willing to try.
